Yes, she was serious and the crowd was raving at the spectacle she was making! The gossip columnists would have a field day and a few Curtis fans were actually booing poor Mika here. Looks like they prefer Song of Dawn (their couple name).

Kenta adjusted his glasses before nodding in Dawn’s direction curtly. The crowd meanwhile was raving over the queen of Sinnoh making another appearance again to battle.

The Winner is...not Hoopa!

So the very first Brendan Brawl ended up with a battle between an unbonded Hoopa and a army of legendries along with other pokemon pulled from various dimensions.  Just another day for a protag, right?

With a might roar the sky dragon god charged forth and finally knocked out the out of control legendary, this time making him stay down for the count. Brendan threw a pokeball to catch him, but it bounced off his body failing completely. Wait! That meant this Hoopa had a trainer!?! Arceus appearing and using it’s thousand hands to return all the pokemon back to their original dimensions  end up diverting the champion’s attention long enough that he missed Hoopa being scooped up and sent to where their home was...

Suddenly the center of the stadium shook and a smoking crater was in place of the podium Brendan was on moments ago.

“Hahahaha! So fragile! So much for bonds with endurance like that! I expected more from your humans and pokemon who partner with them! Oh well, guess I’ll just keep summoning pokemon until I get bored-URAGH!!!!”

An enraged Mega-Rayquaza split the clouds in the sky as he came speeding forth, blasting the Unbound Hoopa that dared to invade his skies and attack his friend!

“Sassy bastard! That’s big talk for someone needing other legends to compensate for the fact you’re a boring little shit!” Brendan was injured and highly pissed, the regal and flirty air he normally had shifted into an outraged one.

“LET’S SHOW THEM WHY WE AREN’T ONES TO PLAY WITH- RAYQUAZA!” 

“YES! YOU CAN ALL COME AT ME! I’LL TAKE ALL YOUR POWERS AND CRUSH IT INTO THE GROUND!!!!”
