THE DEMON KING
How bad did I mess up that kanji come on lay it on me.
Allosaurus fragillis and Acrocanthosaurus atokensis. I have no idea what the correlation here between these two is I just wanted to draw them together.
Hi have you ever watch Jurassic Park/Jurassic World movies?
Yes! Jurassic Park is one of, if not my all time favorite movie. It’s what sparked my interest in paleontology as a kid. I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for the original trilogy. I liked Jurassic World too but not as much as the original. I thought it was a little too “flashy”. Thanks for the ask!
A few paleo sketches I made for the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History. The first one is gonna be used as the cover for the museum brochure~
An indeterminate neovenatorid feeds on an Oryctodromeus sp.
A piece I put together recently, and by that I mean, I drew the Anzu over a year ago, drew the Leptorhynchos in 20min, and my friend @brens-doodles composited everything in PhotoShop since I don’t own it. This is taking a look at the oviraptorosaurs of the Hell Creek Formation, to scale.
Leptorhynchos elegans, an elmisaurine caenagnathid standing about 4ft tall
Anzu wyliei, a caenagnathine caenagnathid standing at 6ft tall
Anzu sp., a tentative name given to the remains of a supposed giant oviraptorosaur. This is not Wakinyatanka (which are footprints belonging to a tyrannosaur) but evidenced by a large tibia, and potentially claws that got mixed up with Dakotaraptor. This is a very tentative reconstruction, as Holtz has pointed out to me that there is potential that’s it not quite that much larger than Anzu wyliei.
~The Trickster and the Queen~ I’m so happy with how this came out, I’ve wanted to draw these two for so long.
Sengoku~
Quick sketch of Achillobator, a really underrated raptor.
