"Aw, well I’m very sorry for your ego, Brett. I can’t lie to you, though, you’re my friend," Emily stated with a giggle, holding onto the boy’s arm as they got out of the bar. It had been a while since she had gotten drunk, and although she had never been a light weight, it was rare that she got wasted so quickly. However, she tended to loosen up a little bit more when she was around her raven-haired friend, so that might have been why. Anyhow, the brunette was too busy walking outside and getting distracted by everything around her to bother thinking too much about that. Smiling as the boy handed her a cigarette, Emily put the tip of it in her mouth and inhaled as Brett lit it up. Letting out a small chuckle, she brought it away from her mouth and leaned against the brick wall, grinning at the boy standing in front of her. "Don’t put it all on you. I always smoke when I’m drunk," she added, shaking her head as she looked into the boy’s eyes. Really, it was probably one of the only unhealthy habits that the girl had. In fact, it might have been because of Brett that it started out, but as her memory wasn’t exactly clear, she preferred not to put the blame on him. It wasn’t exactly like she minded it much, anyway. Maybe her dark-haired friend was a bad influence on her, though, and that night didn’t seem to be an exception. Blushing at the boy’s words, Emily pushed a stray strand from her hair away from her face, letting out a small giggle as she shook her head once more. "Brett, no," she spoke almost quietly, looking down at the ground as she tried to ignore what was going on. After all, she was drunk, but she wasn’t all that stupid. She couldn’t do that, she simply couldn’t. No, she couldn’t. And that was why she did absolutely nothing to stop him from kissing her, even moving her own lips closer to his. "We shouldn’t," she whispered, her face only centimeters away from Brett’s, and her eyes fixated on his.
