Ironically, I think this Occlumency lesson was one of the most amicable interactions between Snape and Harry. Harry leaves a nasty little injury on Snape’s wrist, but Snape seems unbothered, and doesn’t get angry or annoyed with him. Snape sees a dog chasing Harry up a tree in his memories with his family laughing, and he’s like, “Hey… whose fucking dog was that, man…?” I wonder why else he would comment on it except out of concern. Obviously he doesn’t care whose dog it is because he thought it was cute. Oh, and he compliments him!

I genuinely have a big problem with Snape × marauders ships because it would be SO creepy if Severus was a girl and literally no one talks about it

Like yeah sure just a funny little ship with Snape and Sirius or James (I dislike Snupin also but I don't think it's at the same level as those two) until you start thinking about the relationship they have. They're bullies. They SA'd him. They stalked him, followed him and ruined his social life by humiliating him. Somehow y'all ignore all that and ship it anyways.

Now, if Severus was a girl, hypocrisy wins. Because you all of a sudden find it creepy and disturbing (why on EARTH would you ship a girl with the boy that exposed her naked body in public?). Get your shit together.

As someone who dislikes the marauders immensely, I find it hilarious that sirius called himself and his cohorts out with the quote "If you want to know what a man's like, take a look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

Sirius treats his "inferiors" like trash. He treats his equals like gods. He treats Severus (poor, abused, lower working class) like garbage as a rich, entitled teen and man. He treats Kreacher like shit, and he's Sirius' literal slave. James treated his inferiors like shit. As does Remus, and Peter, too.

The marauders aren't good people, and Sirius tells us that himself lol
