You'd have to disengage the airlock and docking clamps, and then on its main control panel change the return location to wherever, my base is the default. After that hit Start Return Course and it should automatically move clear of your ship, and make the after jump after a short spinup.

All the cargo tugs were originally automated, so it'll handle most of the work for you.

I had worked out a plan for this earlier actually, trying to help a friend out. The cargo pod the drone is carrying has been modified with extra shielding and a life support system, so a pickup is possible!

It would probably just be a rather bumpy ride..

The only minor issue is that I'm currently dealing with compact interference at my base, so it's probably pretty up there on the worst places for a rescue flight to, and I'm not entirely sure what other non-compact locations exist anymore. But we can definitely figure something out.

Food is mostly MREs, sorry it's the best I could do, but if you are injured the medkit is a smart one so it'll guide you through treatment.

The preliminary said you're on auxiliary life support but that should be fine for now. Could start working on getting things powered up if you want though, get it a little more habitable until I can come pick you up or we make contact with more Terrans.

I did a very basic scan for life support and hull breaches on the way in, you should be fine for now on that front for the immediate future, but getting stuff restarted can't hurt.

As for the weeds uh, I got bad news.

Every post on the Overnet embeds your current coordinates, accessible by the plants. This includes your original distress calls. Some try to get around this with various technical means, I kinda have a hacker spoofing thing going on, but it's not foolproof. They've additionally demonstrated the ability to track jump drives with relative ease, which is not super great for getting away from here.

In my opinion the best thing you can do is just try to stay under the radar.

I had worked out a plan for this earlier actually, trying to help a friend out. The cargo pod the drone is carrying has been modified with extra shielding and a life support system, so a pickup is possible!

It would probably just be a rather bumpy ride..

The only minor issue is that I'm currently dealing with compact interference at my base, so it's probably pretty up there on the worst places for a rescue flight to, and I'm not entirely sure what other non-compact locations exist anymore. But we can definitely figure something out.

Assuming the Commander ( @agonizedspacetrooper ) and I make it out of the current situation, I should definitely be able to pick you up, otherwise as a fallback, I've set the control panel at the front of the pod to accept jump coordinates from you, they're not really built for multiple uses but I'd say it's got atleast two jumps worth of fuel left.

Food is mostly MREs, sorry it's the best I could do, but if you are injured the medkit is a smart one so it'll guide you through treatment.

The preliminary said you're on auxiliary life support but that should be fine for now. As a floret who was an independent 2 days ago[1], your best bets at "hiding" from the affini are either take a master class in Overnet transmitting within the next day, or go through affini bureaucracy in some way to become an independent.
