My first completed crochet project (second started) from 2024. Made out of envy for my friend’s very cylindrical caterpillar. He is a long hexagon stuffed with cut up t-shirts.

Wips and a cute scarf I never posted.
Finishing few things but enjoying what I’m working on.
(Square pattern- very fun to keep in a bag while traveling! The changing colors and rotating work keep me engaged, and they are so fun to stack up as you go.)
[Image ID: the front and back of a rectangular knitted bag in bright blue and yellow, with repeating pattern of triangles and dots, secured a the front with two mismatched buttons. end ID]
Some passport cases! Very pleased with these.
[Image ID: a small, rectangular knitted bag in a blue and purple gradient with a yellow picot hem at the bottom, and a pointed flap secured with an old metal button with a dog's head on it. end ID]
Little dice bag with a finger-loop cord that I learned from this fabulous person!
[Image IDs: a small knitted drawstring bag in green and purple wool. It looks round and full of dice. End ID]
First lace and first cable-work project! This pattern. Really fun time.
Almost certainly the wrong kind of yarn for stitch definition (felted, hairy) but I loved the color and felt stubborn.
[Image ids: all photos show different angles of the same green knit hat in a fuzzy, lightly flecked yarn. Cables and lacework create a pattern of leaves and vines climbing up to the crown. end ID]
Got a set of blocking mats for the first time and celebrated by decorating the case with some favorite patches. Bottom two are my designs, the mustard one I found, and the rest were made by my wonderful friends.
The laboveralls.
[Image ID: a tall basket piled high with knitted pieces in reds, oranges, blues and greens against a backdrop of wood walls, watercolors, and books]
Tidied and thinned my wips/mending basket. It’s still too much but at least it’s pretty on top.
Returned to adjust this needle case I made a few years ago fit. I love all the colors in this brown wool.
[image ids: different angles of a brown wool case for knitting needles, the inside stitched with channels in a bright red wool. The ridges are tight enough to Sno through the reverse side. The whole closes with a strap that wraps around to a button. End ID]
[Image IDs: A red knit hat worn against a blue background, and laid flat on a light, striped fabric. It has a long stretch of one by one ribbing at the bottom, and a crown that decreases in two long strips on either side.
Melt the ice hat! Gonna make another, I like this.
Only a $5 pattern and all proceeds go to immigrant aid agencies helping people impacted by ICE.
This was so fun to make. Wanted it to feel a little like winter woods. Sooo thrilled that it fits the head it was intended for.
Knitted water bottle holders for friends! My first lace pattern and first time properly learning kitchener stitch. A real fun time. This pattern but with an added crochet edge.
Blanket!! For my buddy Storm!! Started this in June, and as of December this wonky non -rectangular beast is complete. I love it very much. It has the weight and stiffness of a rug. Granny square pattern here.
below are progress pics
Made some lil hanging wall baskets with this pattern. Needed something for my compression gloves to live in, and a little one for my car keys. Close up of the medium sized basket, in a variegated green, blue and purple yarn, being held in front of a floor with a dog in the background.
Didn’t get the best photos but very pleased with this hat. Used this pattern.
[Image IDs: a small beagle mix wearing a colorful crochet jacket made from scrap yarn. She looks pleased with herself. End ID.]
It is once again dog coat season
Homebrew labubu complete at last.
