What are you doing here all by yourself?
“Well, I was actually enjoying the peace and quiet until you arrived. What are you doing here?”
“I don’t think he’s an axe murderer, if he is I’ve gotten really drunk with an axe murderer, which is definitely an interesting story to tell. Would it be acceptable if he was just a regular murderer? Just as long as he doesn’t use an axe, right?” Rae joked lightly, laughing lightly. Rae looked at Brice as they walked, a small smile on her face as she could practically see Brice figuring out why she was asking. Raelynn laughed when she finally got it, then nodded. “It is. Personally, I was pretty big on Harry Potter when I was younger. As you can probably guess from the accent, I was raised in the UK. My family used to watch the movies a lot.”
Brice laughed lightly at Rae’s antics. “I’m pretty sure I can handle a regular murderer. Axes are not my specialty,” she tossed back before running a hand through her hair. “I better start watching those movies again, huh? Get some appreciation for the decor around my room. Who knows, it might awaken my inner nerd.” She paused before grinning brightly at Rae. “Could I interest you in a movie marathon, then?”
“Of course you can. I mean I always planned to come back but I just needed a little time for myself. But I don’t really have anywhere else to be either.” She explained. Bonnie’s smile grew at the compliment from the other blonde. “Well thanks, you are just full of compliments.” She laughed. “Yeah sure, anything you want to see in particular?”
Brice shrugged. “That’s me. All full of compliments.” She looked around, trying to think of a suitable answer for the girl, but found herself lacking one. “Just take me somewhere fun.”
“Well I’ve been here before, I’m just getting back is all.” She explained. “Thanks, I always felt like it was an old ladies name. ” She chuckled. “Its nice to meet you Brice.”
“Wait, you can leave?” Brice shook her head, frowning. “Never mind. I’d have nowhere else to go anyway.” She shrugged before quirking her lips up in a small smile. “Old lady’s name or not, it’s pretty. Kind of like its owner.” Laughing lightly, Brice looked around them. “You’ve been here before, right? Show me around?”
“Nice to meet you Brice the non wordsmith wordy person. I’m Dave.” Dave chuckled lightly as he spoke, finding himself amusing even though he wasn’t.
Brice grinned brightly. “Nice to meet you, Dave the also non wordsmith wordy person.” She laughed and rolled her eyes at them before gesturing towards the general area around her. “So other than lovely roses, what else does this place have to offer?”
Kairi didn’t respond to her words, instead she did an exaggerated eye roll and walked in front of the female. “Do not blame me if we get lost.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Brice followed, keeping up with Kairi at a steady pace. “I know we got off on a shoddy start, but maybe we can move past that and you can stop being such a bitch?”
“Ah, so you’re a drinker. I don’t think so?”
“I wouldn’t call myself a drinker, just someone who appreciates occassionally indulging in alcoholic beverages,” Brice answered with a shrug and a light smile. “Care to join me?”

“When did you get here?” Bonnie reached out her hand to grab the other girls. “Im Bonnie.”
“A couple of days ago.” Brice took the offered hand and shook it. “Pretty name,” she commented as she released Bonnie’s hand. “I’m Brice.”
“That’s what’s so great about flowers,” Skipper grinned, laughing when the other girl tossed the rose petals at her, catching one of them between her fingers to study it for a few seconds before she dropped it, allowing it to flutter to the ground. “Maybe it’s only me, but I think things usually are just as beautiful when broken. Sometimes prettier, better – it gives them a story, whether it’s a rose or a statue, or even a person.”
Brice couldn’t help but grin brightly. “It’s not only you, I know what you mean. There’s just a certain touch to them that draws you in, no?” Catching herself, Brice shook her head and held out a hand. “I’m Brice, by the way. I suppose I should have introduced myself before showering you in petals, huh?”
“If you say so,” he shrugged, his eyebrows raising when she snapped her fingers and narrowed her eyes, like she was accusing him of something almost, but she questioned him instead. “The Gryffindor Room,” he laughed. “Oh, wait. Are you my new roommate?”
Brice nodded as she gave Kirk a once over. He didn’t seem like a bad person despite her initial impression of him. “I suppose I am,” she agreed, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. “At least you’re not an axe murderer.”
Uh.. Hi there..
“A new person so soon after me? Must be my lucky day.” Brice held out a hand. “Hello, love.”
“Yes, I’m positive. Me being drunk would usually be a good possibility, but high, never. I don’t do drugs.” He’d already said that, but it was true, so he said it again, nodding. “That’s a cool name. Nice to meet you, Brice. I’m Kirk. And I can say I’m fairly certain we have not met, no.”
“Hmm. Shame,” she muttered. Kirk. Why was that name familiar? Snapping her fingers, she looked at Kirk with narrowed eyes. “What room are you staying at?”
Rae nodded in agreement, a small smile, sort of absent and misplaced smile of her lips as she did. Raelynn smiled when she mentioned Kirk, and quickly nodded. “I know exactly where that is, I can take you. Kirk is really cool too.” Rae said as she started to walk towards the fire hotel. “Are you a Harry Potter fan?” Rae asked, having thinking to do so when she said that she was in the Gryffindor room.
Brice narrowed her eyes at Rae’s reaction but chose not to say anything. Instead, she just shrugged. “As long as he’s not an axe murderer, I’m okay with living with him.” She followed Rae as she headed towards what Brice guessed was the Fire Hotel. Weird name, but who was she to judge. “I’ve watched the movies, but I can’t say I’m a die hard like those who actually dress up like characters from the series. Why?” She paused, turning to look at Rae with a frown. “Please don’t tell me my room is Harry Potter themed.” Not waiting for the answer, she thought back at the name of the room and groaned.

“I don’t need anyone to take care of me, especially not you.” Kairi scoffed, her arms still folded tightly across her chest as she cocked an eyebrow. “I’ll go because I’m bored and need something to do. Not because of the company.”
Brice grinned. “Whatever helps you sleep at night, princess,” Brice bit back, arching her brow at Kairi. She bowed low and made a gesture for Kairi to lead the way, before looking up with a playful smile on her lips. “Lead the way. You know more of this place than I do.”
