Forgiveness isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
thinking about the first few episodes of hannibal from abigail's perspective is so fucking funny
like imagine waking up from a coma and these two weird gay men walk in and apparently one of them (the really sweaty one who always looks like he's about to cry) killed your dad but your dad was a piece of shit anyway so thats fine. fastforward a few days and youve killed a guy (long story) and the weird european guy is like "I'll help you hide the body" and then later on he fucking steals you from the hospital and is like "i think you should do mushrooms"
This is possibly the finest salad I’ve ever eaten in my life. Shame to ruin it with all that meat.

Now that I’m getting hyped for my long-overdue Hannibal rewatch once it drops on Netflix in a few weeks, it’s occurring to me that I never actually got around to that Hinges of Human Sympathies sequel I swore I was going to write. But after doing some digging in my Google Drive, I found that I actually had started writing it! At some point. Last year (or the year before that). And then stopped.
Given that I’m currently working on The Plague Upon the House, it’s unlikely that I’ll get around to finishing that untitled sequel anytime soon, if at all… but I still like this fragment, so here it is!
The day the woman with the fur coat and red lipstick came to her office, it had been a week since Hannibal Lecter had escaped and an hour since Alana Bloom had quit guest lecturing at Quantico. Alana had propped the door ajar: not because she wanted to give the impression that she was openly inviting people in, but because these were her office hours and she had to be here and not sitting in her car and screaming and screaming without a sound.
The woman didn’t come right in, but she stood on the threshold and waited for Alana to finish filing away her slideshow notes and turn around. Before Alana could be startled, the woman made eye contact and gave her a charming, closed-mouth smile.
“You must be Dr. Bloom,” she said. Her voice was dry and husky.

For #LadiesofHannibal appreciation week, I really wanted to do a murder wives thingy to match my murder husbands from a while back. The idea is that they see in each other what they both already have <3
