I tried more of that technique where you paint and shade in b&w first then add color on top, it’s so much faster omg.

More portrait practice! This originally started off as a throwaway sketch lol. Fun fact, portraits (or anything really) are much easier if you lay down the values before the colors! Hence the b&w image.

I download new brushes almost every week and this one was very hatchy and I liked it, I need to use it more lol

Portrait study on this lovely lady I saw on Pinterest the other day 💚

I tried to paint mostly all on one layer, and tried color blocking out large forms when sketching, it’s much more natural feeling than my current style lol. Turned out pretty good!
