Hot take... but Ron was totally valid in the GoF. Sure, maybe he overreacted, but he was fourteen! Teenagers are dramatic! He's been looked down upon his entire life by his older brothers and even his younger sister! His best friends are constantly in the spotlight (Hermione being a genius and Harry being the literal Chosen One)! I would be jealous too! It's totally in character for him too, because he has layers!! NO SHADE TO HARRY I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART but I feel like he's a lot more one-dimensional than Ron is when it comes to feelings. Yes, he has his moments of anger and sadness, but I think one thing the movies did really well was show Harry's emotions. I don't know, tell me your thoughts. *shrug emoji*

the best part about harry potter, is that no matter how old i get, i can still find a reason to relate to it. there are so many layers to the characters, that it doesn’t even matter that the story itself isn’t a masterpiece.

one thing you’re going to get to know about me pretty quickly, is that I’m a HUGE sucker for fictional characters. give me a sucky story and i’ll STILL build lore and totally real (ha ha ha…) connections with the characters in it.
