Never forget when I found this gem when we were all speculating about TS7 and MAYBE just maybe “The Man” was originally titled “New Man” based on this... @taylorswift can you please confirm
Working students deserve unemployment benefits
I have worked for 7 years with no spans of unemployment until COVID-19. I’ve also gone to college for 7 years while balancing a work schedule (sometimes full-time, sometimes part-time). I will finally be graduating next month (with no real ceremony). I was denied unemployment benefits because I am a full-time student and, therefore, cannot be a full-time employee. I personally know someone who worked 4 hours a week and is receiving full unemployment benefits. I, on the other hand, worked 25 hours a week while also balancing a full-time class schedule and will be receiving nothing. Does anyone else see a problem with this? College students go to school to gain the knowledge to join the workforce, yet I’m being punished for being able to work AND go to school at the same time? Working students deserve unemployment benefits, too, especially if we need the funds to pay our bills. The unemployment benefit requirements need to be revised during COVID-19.
I read somewhere on tumblr that it’s selfie night if that’s not true this is awkward

how can a human be so cute
Shoutout to students who specifically don't take online classes because they can't focus outside of a classroom environment but now have to take their classes online anyways and are seriously struggling🙃

I’ve been reaching out to other @taylorswift blogs in hopes that by more people reblogging my post about how working students deserve unemployment benefits Taylor might see and be able to help take action. It’s hard making much of a difference as a single person (despite all the emails I’ve sent to my state’s governor, my city’s mayor, the DOL, etc.), but if there’s anything I’ve realized about this fandom over the years is how united and powerful it is. Swifties are awesome. Thank you to the people who have reblogged it already! Hopefully we can make this work.
