Everyone’s freaking out about wsh not being in Vancouver yet, but all I can think about is how sammisa are probably teasing Mack for finally hanging out with them without his codependent special teammate.

“Wow Mack I’m surprised you haven’t left us to go talk to smitty on the phone yet?”

“Do you miss smitty Mack?

“Awww captain misses his A?”

They keep teasing him and teasing him to the point that Aiden and Rj start on him too.

One day (maybe that day they went fishing) sammisa yell out “Will you made it!” And Mack turns around so fast you would think he broke his neck. Just to see no one there. He starts to hear everyone start laughing, and he turns around slowly to glare at sammisa, and just says “I’ll remember that.”

Sammisa look at each other and just grin.

Over the next few days, they keep on getting Mack to turn around by saying that they spot Will. They get everyone in on it from Charlie, to Robyn, to even Rick.

One day Sammisa say “Hey, Will, you made it!” And Mack is like “ha ha ha. I won’t fall for that.” in the most deadpan voice. Only to jump when someone wraps their arms around his waist, lifting him slightly from the ground, and whispers into his ear “fall for what?”

Watched this latest interview with Alex Nedeljkovic and he got asked what his top all-time starting lineup would be (3 forwards and 2 d-men) if he could only pick from his current or former teammates (not just the NHL but the other leagues he played in as well) - basically, anyone he's ever played on a team with.

Just as a reminder, since the 2018/19 season Nedeljkovic has played for the following NHL teams: the Canes, the Red Wings, the Penguins and now the Sharks. So keep their rosters in mind.

His first two answers for forwards were the usual suspects: Sid and Mack.

Then he had trouble deciding on the third but this is how the conversation went from there:

1. After he got clarification that they were looking for someone who would complement Sid and Mack the best, there was absolutely NO hesitation in saying it's Will.

2. He's basically putting Will on the same level as Svechnikov - a guy who's 5 years older than Will, is undoubtedly his team's second best player (this last season he was 2nd in goals scored, trailing after 1st by only 1 goal; 3rd in points scored, trailing after 2nd only by 1 point) and literally just won a Stanley Cup with the Canes.

3. Can't talk about Will without mentioning the chemistry with Mack lmao.

Also, after he picks all five players (Sid, Mack, Will, Slavin and Mo Seider) he finishes with: "I think those five guys would be pretty hard to beat. You could put those five up against almost anybody, I think."

They buy him a little chain when he’s 8 and it has a shark charm on it then when he’s 11 or 12 Will gives him his cross to add to it (and buys a new one obvi)
