This is a piece from my “Drawing a Day” project that I’m working on from July 29, 2012 - July 29, 2013.  This drawing is collage and ink, 14x19”, created on March 12, 2013.  I’m been exploring this intestinal design recently, challenging the visceral response that nudity inspires by representing it in a way that borders on grotesque.  I want to challenge and break the pattern of our conditioned reactions to media images.  ~~Stephanie Marie Hatch
