This piece was presented in 2019 at the Triskelion Arts SummerFest as a part of Dance in Bushwick's curation. 

This dance is about betrayal, sisterhood, and the loss of love.

Had a wonderful closing show of #PrettyTheft last night! Thank you @nycdarkmatter for the incredible opportunity! But on another note, it was very heartbreaking to hear of the atrocities in #Paris. My heart and prayers go out to the people of France. I pray for swift justice and peace.

Well friends, looks like I'm at it again. Cast in the Dark Matter Productions' Pretty Theft by Adam Szymkowicz. I'm gonna dance again! So excited! It has been an amazing year so far! So sorry it’s been such a long time between posts! I have been working on my acting almost exclusively, although that may need to come to an end because we all need day jobs. But I have been incredibly blessed by all of the people that I’ve met and been with this year!

First, I had a memorable New Year’s Eve with @SkimMilkProject. I’ve slowly been developing my #nailart.

I was then cast in the show #BlackFootnotes where I met some fantastic people in my life! One of which just graduated from Columbia yesterday! Proud of you Lamar! These fabulous new friends have supported me in so many ways and helped me develop my craft and work ethic. They provide a great focus.

Next was the #Gotham shoot where I did a little background work for a nice little paycheck. My first experience being totally dolled over! I had such a great time and again made some new friends! This whole acting community thing is pretty awesome lol!

Next, my webseries #LetterstoQuentin debuted! What a lovely experience that was filming! Unfortunately, the series won’t be continuing on to a second season but it was so much fun to be a part of.

And the second series I had the pleasure of debuting this year was the critically acclaimed and well-loved @HuntingSeasonTV! I walked down my first red carpet (styling done by myself but makeup and hair was done by the fabulous Glen Yu) and had a great reunion with my beloved fellow cast members! This #webseries is monumental and completely available on @vimeo.

And last but not least, my most recent performance was with a stellar troupe called @theclimbingivyproject. The premiere of #InDefenseofGlitterandRainbows was at the nuyoricanpoets. It was a sold out show! I was so excited to be cast as the lead and get the opportunity to dance!

It’s been a crazy ride so far this year and I am so excited to keep this going. Thank you to everyone that has made this year so amazing thus far! Love you all!

The wait is over and my debut as @VanessaFreemont in #LetterstoQuentin has premiered. Vanessa is an aspiring musician who just met Mitch in the previous episode as Mitch takes on the daunting task of working in theater. 

I had so much fun shooting this series! Please tune in every Friday to see a budding friendship between Vanessa and Mitch as Mitch explores the challenging world of freshman year of college and being a proud lesbian surrounded by very interesting, albeit not the brightest, straight boys.
