I’ll get wild and travel all over the world and take photos of animals and tribal people and get hired by National Geographic and have all of these amazing adventures and wild sex with gorgeous men who speak only some very rare dialect so we’ll only be able to communicate with body language and therefore never stay in touch

Dear Photograph, This is a picture of myself, my cousins Kris and Jay, my brother Kevin and my Uncle Pauly, taken by my father Kevin some time in the late 80’s. All of us native NY’ers, our dads were taking us on a trip to climb the Statue of Liberty and see Ellis Island. We can still remember climbing to the crown, and feeling so accomplished. In the original photo, we were posing with Lady Liberty for Uncle Pauly, when Uncle Kevin saw the opportunity to snap the original picture with the Twin Towers in the background.
Nearly 25 years later, on the eve of the 12th anniversary of 9/11/2001, my cousin Kris Lo Presto (left most in picture) and Erin Parker brought this photo back to the Statue of Liberty and snapped this pic. Brian Mount

STAR GAZERS, MOON HATERS; spread the word, yo!
I do not say ‘good-bye.’ I believe that’s one of the bullshittiest words ever invented. It’s not like you’re given the choice to say ‘bad-bye’ or ‘awful-bye’ or ‘couldn’t-careless-about-you-bye.’ Every time you leave, it’s supposed to be a good one. Well, I don’t believe in that. I believe against that.
This is how I feel everyday lol

GOING HOME
“I felt like lying down by the side of the trail and remembering it all. The woods do that to you, they always look familiar, long lost, like the face of a long-dead relative, like an old dream, like a piece of forgotten song drifting across the water, most of all like golden eternities of past childhood or past manhood and all the living and the dying and the heartbreak that went on a million years ago and the clouds as they pass overhead seem to testify (by their own lonesome familiarity) to this feeling.”
“O how wonderful life is, how miraculous, God made this and God made that", "how do you know he doesn't hate what He did: He might even be drunk and not noticing what he went and done tho of course that's not true."
“Because in the end, you won't remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.”
DEAREST FOLLOWERS,
It's super rad you are following what my life is doing. Thank you!
