bryewon:
sulking wasn’t a good look, yewon knew that. it caused pre-mature wrinkles, something she couldn’t afford. this entire job gave her the feeling she was ageing at twice the speed anyway while those goddamn vampires stayed impeccably beautiful forever. yet it was hard not to frown as her eyes grazed the dance floor, the crowd as dumb and oblivious like a herd of sheep on a meadow. what was she thinking infiltrating a masquerade ball, a place where anonymity was the highest priority. it had been a futile engagement so far and yewon saw no immediate improve to her situation when she got approached by another party goer for the first time this night. the embrace catches her off guard and yewon is ready to make the intruder of her own thoughts and silence catch some hands until they spoke up. of course, who else could have those trademark raven curls, the captive brown eyes analyzing the environment’s every move and now yewon was their target. her tense shoulders relaxed ever so slightly upon the realization that jiho had just pulled her into a loving embrace, she just about managed to not release a sigh of relief and regret. the other hunter’s comment made yewon blush ever so slightly under her mask, hoping jiho wouldn’t notice. “i didn’t plan coming here and that was the only thing i felt was fit for the occasion. forgive my ignorance, i should have known you would recognize me,” she apologizes, somewhat embarrassed for being exposed this easily. she performed her best attempt not to look the other up and down but jiho’s alluring … everything was too hard too ignore. she looked like a million bucks. more than that, maybe the number that im hyunmin’s bank account read. her hand seeks jiho’s, giving it a gentle squeeze. she wondered when she would stop searching for the proximity of the other, when it would start getting easier. “how is it going?”
the way the blush paints yewon’s cheeks makes a warmth bloom in her own chest. no matter how much time passed and even with a mask concealing her eyes nothing could change the way she was drawn to yewon, the way her eyes always looked fo hers even though they were no longer together. jiho wondered if she would ever truly be free from the spell yewon wove on her, but her hand squeezes her grounding her from floating away and an easy smile spreads across her face.
“don’t be so pouty, you look gorgeous of course always having to out do me in everything aren’t you?” she teases her lightly, lets her eyes appreciate the enchanting beauty of her former love. it was, she keeps her hand linked with yewon’s swinging it lightly between them, the other hand pressed lightly into her hip, a subtle attempt to keep her in her proximity. truth be told with yewon here she had less desire to gather intel than she did to dance with her and perhaps something more? but she knew those days were over, she knew that she was a bit foolish to believe that yeown would even for a moment drop her guard to bask in each others presence, but maybe she could convince her to join her in a dance. keep a better eye on the leeches if you blend in right?
she shrugs, “nothing out of the ordinary, just animals giving into their baser instincts.” she remarks, it was difficult to remain saintlike with every temptation being offered on a silver platter, it was so easy to lose yourself to the atmosphere, however this party even with its added extravagance was no different so far in regards to other intel jobs she pulled at vampire clubs. “how about you, found anything worthwhile or are you too busy frowning to enjoy yourself? such beautiful lips deserve to be graced with a smile.” she adds coyly.
