if it was dropping, it would go faster and faster towards the bottom because of the acceleration of gravity

After going over some of my notes, I realized that we have essentially learned the physics behind punting a football. We can calculate the force exerted on the ball by using the hangtime, distance traveled, and height achieved.

Sadly (for Giants fans anyway) I think somebody needs to teach this to Matt Dodge. Tough losses here and against Green Bay. Hoping for somewhat of a miracle in the last week of the regular season…
