In the matter of seconds Stefan and Rebekah were present of the bar that was completely and utterly destroyed and now they were standing in a ally way a few blocks from the bar. Stefan growing more and more confused and what was going on and why was she her and not Klaus? He caught the slight glimpse of laughter and it streaked from her lips. Begging the question, how she thought this was funny? Not entirely to sure what the hell was going on, left Stefan feeling wary and very nervous and he didn’t like to feel this way. ❝ Okay we’re safe. —— Now tell me what is going on? Where is Klaus? Come on Rebekah, speak up! ❞

Rebekah took a breath and let her hand leave his cheek, removing her gloves as she checked the street behind them, "He left." She mumbled, acting as if it didn't faze her. She only ever cried in front of her brothers. Stefan would surely think her weak if he saw her cry. She turned to him and offered her hand, "Shall we go find a motel then? Since those vampire hunters are sure to check our homes."

The year was 1920 during the era of the prohibition; the banishment of alcohol in all of the states within the U.S. But did the government really think they could ban booze from every bar or distiller? It was impossible and Stefan was attending a secret club/bar where they sold alcohol, all in secrecy of course. Not only was the time where Stefan was off the wagon the hardest he had ever been but it was the first time he had made some friends. Klaus Mikealson alongside with his gorgeous blonde sister Rebekah Mikealson. For a few weeks they had gather here to sip on bourbon, whiskey, scotch and blood from the unwillingly,willingly to give them the great pleasure that is what separates man from monster. In Stefan’s case the one that divides Vampires from Rippers’. It was just like any other day when Stefan attended the same bar he had been for a while now, and he would meet his friend there. It wasn’t long before that all changed and the bar was being filled with wooden bullets, as if someone knew that there was vampire’s in here. The next thing he knew was he was hiding behind a bar counter ducking and avoiding from being shot to death. Finally when everything was all over Rebekah grabbed his hand and pulled him up. He noticed that she had been crying and he grew curious to exactly why she was crying. ❝ — Rebekah. What’s wrong? —— What the hell is happening? ❞

The concern in his eyes made her want to cry more. Not out of sadness, but out of joy. No man had ever cared so much about her, as this man did, whom she had just met merely a week ago. Rebekah smiled softly and intertwined their fingers, "I'll explain later, but for now we need to get out of here." He whispered and they blurred out of the building and into the nearest ally. She giggled out of the excitement of the situation they were just in, It gave her a slight adrenalin rush and made her blood boil. She turned to Stefan to see him still as confused as he was in the bar. She tilted her head slightly and placed her hand upon his cheek, "Breath. Even if you don't technically have to."

Rebekah could feel the tears slide down her cheek as she watched Niklaus drive away. He had given her a choice. Him or Stefan. She loved her brother, she truly did, but she wanted to be happy for once. She wanted to stay with Stefan. To be with Stefan. And if that meant she had to go on the run, then she'd do it with him. She walked back into the club and through all the smoke and gunfire, Rebekah found Stefan ducked behind the counter. She blurred over and gripped his hand, "Look who I found." She smiled, wiping the remaining tears before pulling him towards the exit.

The Night of Us || Damon & Rebekah

The sound of a car engine filled the empty streets as the blonde original pulled into the Salvatore drive way. Normally, she'd be anywhere but here, but tonight was an exception. The doppelganger had broken yet another heart and her lose was Rebekah's gain. The blonde fixed her blonde curls and checked her lipgloss in the review mirror before getting out of the car and heading up the familiar walkway. She knocked twice and crossed her arms, "Come on, Damon, it's bloody cold out!"
