Someone please tell them what it's like to permit their body into your own. Someone tell them how much pain our bodies go through to be the closest humans are to God. Someone tell them what it's like to permit violence on our bodies for their pleasure. Someone tell them what it's like to be afraid of living in your own skin. God someone please tell them.

Sometimes I can't comprehend it either. How I could care so much about one person that the thought of you consumes my every waking hour to point I can't think of a day that you weren't the topic of a daydream and your face didn't make my heart flutter and that every second I talk to you for a moment I get to escape myself and realize that I'm not trapped and maybe I'll be different. You. Me. Most days I can't begin to imagine how someone like you fell in love like someone like me, it's like the princess and the pauper but the roles are reversed, I do have low self-esteem and that makes it seem like I'm unworthy of everything you give me and I struggle to understand how I was picked from the crowd but there is nothing I could be more thankful for than the love that you so freely offer, I may come from a place where that act is a rarity but you don't treat it like a charity you make us equal though we come from different backgrounds you set us on an even plane. I would dance with you in a field till midnight chase the moonlight catch the starlight with you because I love you so damn much.

We exist in the same space, only feet from each other, but I can't see you, you are miles away from me but you're right there. You don't know how much it hurts, to watch you be so far away so close to me, you don't know how much it hurts.

There are those days

There are those days. Everything feels like its been worth it up to this point. Remember these days. Keep them close to your heart for when you can't remember what sunshine feels like. Rememver those days.

Do you ever miss my smile or the way I look at you or how I hug you; do you miss me like that? Because I do, I miss your laughter, the depth or your eyes, and the touch of your hands in mine; all the time.

Why do I push you away then beg for your attention? Why do I push people away then get angry when they leave?

And some days the sunshine was overwhelming; it was too bright, too happy for you to enjoy. You needed a gentle rain to soothe you on these days. That would have helped.
