In my half awake state a random thought filtered into my skull. How would the other companions react if Kar'niss joined the party?
Gale: "A drider, fascinating choice of company. Although, there is much to be said for their useful talents. Potent paralytic venom, supreme ambush skills, and martial prowess not to be trifled with. However, if we start our days covered in webbing we may need to arrange for him to rest...elsewhere."
Astarion: "Our merry band of misfits grows ever larger, doesn't it darling? I don't mind him here, his massive body will be perfect to hide behind when fireballs are flung our way. Work smarter not harder, mw-ha!"
Shadowheart: "So we have two traumatized blood suckers in camp now? On one hand our newest acquaintance could prove useful in battle. On the other his non-stop jabbering motivates me to cast silence on him at every opportunity. Decisions, decisions."
Laezel: "Chk! An abomination in our midst. While his appearance leaves an impression I will still slit his throat if he shows any signs of betraying us. I hope you are certain about your choice in inviting him here."
Karlach: "A drider, fuck yes! Call me crazy but I think they're neat. Do you think if I asked nicely he'd let me ride on his back? Just once, that's all I want. Imagine all the places we could go with someone who can climb walls at will?!"
Wyll: "While I'm not thrilled about accompanying a creature well known for violent tendencies and insane thought patterns, I've misjudged others before. Everyone deserves a second chance. So long as Kar'niss respects those in camp then perhaps there is hope for him yet."
Halsin: "Heh, a challenge." *wildshapes into a giant spider*
