it absolutely killed me how they made him sit during that sort-of party in the latest episode because to me it very directly echoes the way he sat with vogelbaum all the way back in season 1

theres something so. childish, little-boy coded about the way he sits sometimes, hands on knees, looking just so slightly out of place, his suit suddenly looking too big for his body. and the fact that the entire episode was permeated with his lab past without directly addressing it, only talking about the outcome of it (him being weird etc etc), it doesnt feel like a coincidence. i just loved seeing that again, as small of a detail as it is... : )
