Hello! I have no name but you may call me Null! It is a pleasure to be here!
@bromine-and-candy
Could you do me a favor and test this thing I got in the mail for poisons and bad textures?
Why of course! Do you want me to eat it?
My main takeaway from working in a medical lab is that the human body is a kind of soup where some bullshit happens.
Fascinating! Do you enjoy living there?
It's...fine.
Somerset is Verlamion's unofficial capital, even if the seat of government rests in Albion. The Victorian isles' industry as a whole has seen little but decline over the last century, but Somerset remains relevant on the world stage through its scientific research and the enduring titan that is its pharmaceutical industry. It's also where the International Science Consortium was founded, and where its main branch is still located—though these days the ISC meets in Babel, ever since the Great Yan became a member state.
For someone like me, that's all fairly decent. It gives me access to most avenues of learning, and I'm able to partner with some prestigious college preparatory programs to fasttrack my students to higher education. On the other hand, the culture in Somerset is rancid. The duchy is a matter of history, but entrenched power is difficult to excise. These technocrats still see themselves as nobility, and everyone else suffers for it.
Hm! Sounds wretched! The technocrat bit, that is to say. Fantastic news on the fasttracking! Always good to have more educated people about!
I adore the petty! I think it's quite entertaining!
What fascinating sounding places, do tell me more about them, I've never heard of them! Though perhaps that's a failing on my part.
Likely not; while I've seen similar places through the MPIC, I've never once encountered a world that was fully alike my own. I don't mind answering questions about my world.
I live in the Somerset Metropolitan Area, on the island of Verlamion in what was once the centerpiece of a formerly dominant empire. These days, at least economically speaking, we're more of a satellite to the Alemannische Bundesrepublik, one of two remaining eastern superpowers, and the only democratic one.
Fascinating! Do you enjoy living there?

daily affirmations:
no one is watching me all the time
Getting too cold or too hot does horrible things to my body so I tend to stay in a very temperature controlled place. Of course I under exaggerate! The temperatures must be fairly severe for me to combust or freeze! Ha ha ha! That is not a joke! I could very well combust! There are flammable gasses inside me afterall!
✝+ I see! That would be rather bad if you were to do either of those things. Alternia would be very bad for you... Well, during the day. The sun is hot enough to burn quickly, and it can instantly and permanently blind you. Here, the sun isn't that hot, but I'm not a good reference as trolls and particularly seadwellers have thicker skin! The indoors, though, are much more insulated and regulated here. Considering all the dust. +✝
Ha ha! That would be catastrophic!
Perhaps if I ever visit I can simply stay indoors during the day! What's the nightlife like? I'm sure quite bustling if the sun is bright enough to blind!
Perhaps I'll see about getting into the wardrobe to try one on. If I do I'll be sure to post on this webbed site to show you! Ha ha ha!
Do you enjoy the heat or do you prefer somewhere cooler?
✝+ Yes, please do! I think you'll look quite lovely! +✝
✝+ I have a lower body temperature than most with red blood, I'm quite cold to the touch, so yes, quite a lot! Though it can be a bit excessive on some days. +✝

I have never worn a dress! I think. But perhaps I also would look quite happy in one! Much to think about. It brings me great joy to know you are comfortable! I too am quite used to layered clothing and it can be a hassle that's for sure! Ha ha ha!
✝+ I've worn a few, but that one was the most comfortable. A much-needed break after some more serious matters related to the town I currently oversee. You should try it! I think it'll be a nice experience if you find a style you'd like. +✝
✝+ Same here, I'm quite fond of my layers, the planet I hail from and the one I reside on are rather hot, this less so than Alternia. But still hot nonetheless, so breathable fabrics are ideal in some cases. +✝

#What a wonderful look! You look terribly happy!
✝+ Oh yes! I tend to wear a lot of layered clothing, so this was very comfortable! +✝
