An old favorite by the decemberists. Also all of the standing drums!
Fantastic duet with Little Milton & Bonnie Raitt
Old school punk rockers The Jam!
Throwback to some old spoon, fantastic horn section
Saw these guys live at WTMDās Live Lunch this past Friday, such a great performance!
From their amazing live album, One For The Road, The Kinks
Great Blur live performance in honor of their new album released today
Swampy blues band North Mississippi Allstars performing the blues classic RollinĀ ān Tumblin, a song that has been around for over 70 years on WFUV. Amazing performance featuring both a diddley bow and a washboard!
I heard Aimee Mannās music many times on the radio, but it never quite clicked for me. My interest was piqued when I heard pieces of her album with Ted Leo as the band The Both, but what really got me to listen to more of her music was seeing her in Portlandia in a really funny running sketch that people should definetly check out. Now I have a number of her songs stuck in my head, and Iāve found myself humming or singing the song randomly throughout the day. This is one of those songs, enjoy!
Talk about an indie band who are absolutely amazing live. I saw them last summer at WTMDās First Thursday Concert in Baltimore and they blew away the crowd. Just unbelievable.
awesome indie band with a cool sound. I saw them live a couple of years ago, and they put on a good show
Very cool sounding band. The album has such an eerie ambiance to it that makes it sound spooky.
Cool acoustic version of Ted LeoāsĀ āMe and Miaā
The tiny desk series by NPR is amazing, and everyone should check the videos out. This is Conor Oberst playing songs off the album he put out last year.
Great blues song by Ben Harper, featuring harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite
This is off their most recent albumĀ āMost Messed Upā. I saw the Old 97ā²s in concert a couple of months ago in DC, phenomenal show, if you ever get a chance.
