Genshin rarepair: Kazuha/Venti
My two favorite traumatized anemo guys, not that I don't appreciate the others as well. The world has placed a burden upon them, and they've suffered a lot – and yet (or perhaps in part because of it) they still care so much and try to help others.
They'd both find each other's company comforting, although Venti would struggle to open up and not just instinctively pretend that everything is fine. Kazuha, no doubt, would pick up on it anyway.
At the same time, Venti of course has lived for thousands of years and has a lot of wisdom and experience that can help Kazuha. Still, Kazuha has done well, so he'd definitely admire Kazuha for moving forward in healthy ways.
With regards to interests, they would not have a lack of things to enjoy together – writing poetry, other artsy pursuits, listening to and telling stories, appreciating the beauty of nature. They're both just awesome that way.
Plus, red and green look great next to each other.
(I could say a hundred things more here, but that'd turn into a whole essay.)
On Jae-ha's bisexuality
Jae-ha is one of my favorite characters in Akatsuki no Yona and when he first appeared, I felt such a kinship with him. Well, the treatment of his bisexuality once more got me thinking about how 'mainstream' Japanese works (works that don't want to be pigeonholed into BL or GL) still have to tip-toe around depicting same-gender attraction.
I really wish Jae-ha could've just been openly bisexual instead of his attraction to Hak being mostly played for laughs, although in a heteronormative society that also makes sense in its own way. Still, it'd have been nice if at least the narrative made it clear enough that fans couldn't deny it - because if it's not, unfortunately any same-gender attraction will be scrutinized right down to the smallest detail.
In any case, Jae-ha is bi, and I love him.
Idk I just personally think that Grusha is actually a lot more masculine than everyone makes him out to be, he just happens to be pretty
