It was probably a bad idea to return to this blog 10 years later and read my posts. So many things have changed about me that the old me makes me cringe, but many of the things I hoped to change back then remain the same.

Being catfished actually sucks.

It turns out it still crawls back into your mind from time to time and can really screw your day. But don't worry it's less frequent every year.

Being catfished is not that bad.

You are just left with a few months of severe depression, recurrent anxiety attacks, a deep dark feel of emotional emptiness, an uncontrollable paranoia and a permanent absolute distrust for other human beings.*

Totally livable.

I’ve thought about the several reasons I left my ex. She was too impulsive, she was creepily clingy, racist, uneducated, close minded, paranoiac, mental, manipulative, irrational, arrogant, pretentious, obsessed, possessive and a compulsive liar.

But If I’m honest with myself I think the main reasons were that she didn’t like Metalocalypse, Rick and Morty nor Lord of The Rings, and that’s 3 strikes that I won’t forgive on anyone.

Why I don't like to help people anymore.

After helping someone you can barely coexist with.

Acquaintance: Thank you for helping and supporting me.

Me: No problem, I like to help.

Acquaintance: You are so kind and such a good person, nobody has ever been so kind to me.

Me: .... It's fine, I just wanted to help... Have a nice day.

Acquaintance: You are the best friend I've ever had.

Me: I.... I don't know you, you don't even know me, how do you even-

Acquaintance: You are my best friend, lets go to the movies this Sunday.

Me: No?

Acquaintance: We are going to marry and have 12 children.

Me: What.. The fuck.

Acquaintance: Fuck me right here in the Best Buy in front of all these people.

Me: I Don't even like you! I just wanted to help you, you fucking weirdo!

Acquaintance: YOU ARE SUCH AN ASSHOLE YOU HAVE RUINED MY LIFE.

Some things I’ve personally learned from life. (Manipulation)

1. People who complain about how “You have changed” often seek to drag you back into a position where they hold power over you.

2. Most people use false manners and fake compassion to control you rather than force.

3. People who feign ignorance or pretend innocence are often more dangerous than those that openly wish to subdue you.

4. Tone of voice can be a huge red light for when a person is planning on manipulating you, pay attention to it.

5. People who self proclaim themselves as ‘best friends’ when no merits have been earned might already have you eating from the palm of their hand.

6. Manipulative people play the game with everyone, once you spot their true intentions they’ll manipulate others into hating you. Have this in mind when you chose to opt out.

7. Beware of paranoia, not all is what it seems, not all seek to control you, be extra careful of who you accuse of manipulation, sometimes you might end up hurting a true friend over a simple misunderstanding.
