The angst, the tension, the longing, the lust, the spice, the inevitably fated pain… 😩🤌🏼

After graduating Hogwarts, Lily Evans joins the Order, and Severus Snape becomes a Death Eater. On opposite sides of the war, their affection for the other strains but their feelings do not subside. Though Lily is with James, her love for Severus has always endured quietly in the background.

When they run into each other in a bar while she is having a drink with Remus, they have a moment to reconnect and unload everything they have been holding back.

I love this story with my entire heart, it is now canon in my mind. And I’m honored the author allowed me to bring it to audio 😭

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.

When I tell you serpent_and_sage story touched my heart in a way a story hasn’t in a long time, I mean it so sincerely.

Not only is her prose debilitatingly beautiful, the raw tenderness and desperation in this story is so visceral it leaves you staring at the wall.

The LONGING. The need.

She’s a spicy one too, mind the tags and wear your headphones firmly in your ears 🤭

I couldn’t get through this one without crying, but I promise you it’s a HEA 🖤

It was such an honor to bring this beautiful rare pair story to life.
