If Tierna is out as bad as it seems, what a devastating loss on every level. For her, fighting back from injury time and time again. For Gotham, she’s their captain and leader and honestly, their defensive depth had been the biggest concern going into the season so that’s not good either. For the USWNT…fuck. Not in a tournament way rn with it being 2025, but just in the personal way of what Tierna brings to every camp and game and who she is as a person. The most consistent representation and voice on the team for the queer community, most days the only one who seems to care. She’s still so young and is undeniably one of the best leaders on every team she’s on.

Whatever the timeline is, she’ll come back and it’ll be an incredible comeback for sure. Sending her so so so much love and all the good healing vibes every moment💙. Hopefully her recovery, however long we’re looking at, will be full of puppy kisses, reading good books, and nerding out over everything she wants to.
