𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫. At least they had one another for company, but it was a little difficult navigating a penthouse when even the lights outside were down. It took all of both their wit to not walk into the windows. Bruce should have been more aware of the interior of his place, but it seemed Bucky was much more in tune with his footing as they bustled about, every now and then bumping into each other. Every single time they did, though, he found it hard not to pull the other male in toward him; he had been resisting all evening and he didn’t know why. A part of him felt out of sorts about the whole thing, simply because he wasn’t aware of the others feelings and whether or not they were at all reciprocated, because if they were not, he would be making the biggest mistake of his life.
