I ran into an administrator in my department and she asked me if I am doing better because I seem significantly less stressed. I replied by saying im medicated now Why Did I Say That

my psychiatrist told me she talked to my therapist and asked him why I struggle with relationships because I "seem like a really lovely person" ok

PhD Update - July 9th 2026

I was able to fix an experiment that had been going wrong for months and I feel like all of my frustrations I have been carrying are going away :) Since everything has been going better I have finally gotten the courage to start writing my manuscript!

My PI is gone for the next two weeks so I get a mini break, no direct supervision so I can relax a bit :)

I love taking my least favorite tubes out first so then I'm just left with all of my favorite colors. Today I finished all the other tubes and only had my cute pink purple and blue tubes, and I just happened to match!

Today my therapist asked what percentage of me wants to go to lab because I need to, and what percentage of me wants to go to lab specifically as an excuse to avoid social situations.....oh he whacked me a bit
