Finally, after so long, I can show to you my Dispatch OC, Hootress! I'm sooo excited!!
Hootress (whose real name is Alba Tyto) was considered a villain due to the legends and rumors surrounding her existence. People who spoke of her referred to her as "La Chorca" or "Mujer Lechuza", depending on the country.
Her origins trace back to South America, though it's only known that she came from somewhere in the Andes Mountains. She spent years wandering from country to country, hiding from people and cryptozoologists searching for her trail, until, by chance, she ended up in a warehouse in Los Angeles, California.
And that's where her story with the Z-Team begins!
[HOW TO RECRUIT HER]
As the dispatch section nears its end, a final call will appear on the screen: Upon entering, you will receive information from a man who appears to be a cryptozoologist who has spent years investigating the existence of a "barn owl woman" of which only one photograph in good quality is available (See first image).
Blonde Blazer will confirm that it's indeed someone called "La Chorca" and that she's been tracking her for some time, having heard rumors and being interested in bringing her into the program. She'll then ask you to send someone to rescue her.
The mission is located in a warehouse that appears to be private.
Blazer will then tell you that, because it's a large, dark, enclosed space, you'll need someone who can move easily in the dark undetected and knows their way around, while also keeping a low profile. She'll also recommend someone who can avoid direct conflict and is capable of engaging in conversation, as she believes it's possible to reason with the woman.
However, there is the possibility of a confrontation at first sight, so sending someone with knowledge and experience in combat, especially stealth combat due to possible ambushes, and with a cool head would also be a good option.
You can only send one hero, and your options will depend on who you cut from the team in the first season:
[Sonar]-> If you cut Coupé.
[Coupé]-> If you cut Sonar.
If you forgave Sonar or Coupé at the end of the first season, you can choose between the two.
Choosing which of the two (if available) is important because it will define not only Hootress skill set, but also her development as a character and what path she will take in the future.

Hootress hates being called "La Chorca," it reminds her of a part of her past that she most regrets and that continues to haunt her to this day.
She likes to play the flute.
She has extensive knowledge of herbs and traditional medicine.
The only sport she knows how to play is Football (Soccer)
She can turn her head 270° in her human form.
She's actually a (single) mother, she loves kids.
She knows (Excluding indigenous languages.) Spanish, Portuguese, a little bit of French (still learning) and of course, English.
She prefers to hunt and eat her food raw, but she knows how to cook.
She is aware of technological advances, she's just not interested in them or doesn't know how to use them.
Her blood type is O-
Hootress body also serves as a blood filter. Her immune system eliminates any disease that the blood she consumes may contain.
She thinks she's too old for many things, like dating... Even if she doesn't look that old.
She has the sense of humor of a Facebook mom. If she knew how to use a phone, she'd send you good morning pictures with Tweety Bird.
Also she eats fat ticks like they are Bubbaloo.

Honestly, Robert's role here is already defined as Mecha Man, part of Z Team, so we won't see Robert as a dispatcher here.
And regarding the first question, well, I don't think so. I wasn't planning on focusing on the romantic aspect, just hinting at chemistry with various characters (chemistry in the sense of a good relationship or dynamic, not necessarily romantic).
But, I'll let everyone interpret it as they like. I think it's more fun that way!
how did he get into that position, exactly? like, was the team already full when he joined? is that just a different part of the phoenix program he wound up signing up for (given that he already has some office experience)? or did robert convince blazer at the bar to make him a part of the team proper instead, and sonar was made dispatcher for the same-ish reason he would/could have been cut in the main game?

Honestly? My approach is quite different. When Sonar (or rather Victor, since no one really knows his criminal identity at first) joined the program as a dispatcher, it was long before Robert joined the team.
Blazer personally sought Sonar out to offer him the opportunity after certain events in his life that not only revealed his identity, but also made him reflect on taking a different path in life.
So, in your dispatcher Sonar AU, would Blazer and Visi still be the main love interests, or is there somebody else for Sonar to potentially smooch?

BB and Visi are still Robert's thing in this AU, so no, they're not the love interests. However, there are two characters who should fill that role, as I confirmed in this post.
And, as I said before in that post, I really want it to be more of a personal choice, like in the game! I think the first option is obvious, but the second is a surprise!
The reason for choosing these characters is that they are the ones who most influence Sonar's character development in this AU.
Does Dispatch Sonar have any romantic interest with anyone on Z-Team or the SDN office?

Just like in the game, yes, there are two romantic interests, although my intention is for it to be ambiguous, not too explicit, because I want people to choose the one they like, or even neither! I know it will be difficult, but that's my idea, haha 😁
The only thing I can assure you is that the second option isn't anyone we've seen in the game.

I decided to come back to this Tumblr just so I could post about this guy!
This is Postal Kid! The Dude's illegitimate son, who clearly doesn't know he has a bastard lying around! The funny thing is, the Dude have beef with a mechanic so much that he slept with the mechanic's daughter out of revenge and left town before the old man found out...
Not knowing he'd gotten her pregnant.
So yeah, twenty years later (during the events of Postal 2) Kid was already twenty years old. This one does have a name, which is "Kick Dosass" (yeah that's Kid's name).
The long and short of it is that he's your typical rebellious boy with daddy issues, albeit with anger issues and dangerously mixed with gun use, illegal substances, and all of this packaged in the body of an arsonist... With a bladder that's too big for his age. Despite all of this, he's not completely crazy, even if he tries to sell you the idea that squirrels hide nuts with cameras inside because they've been mind-controlled by the government... He does have his soft side, especially with his mother Adella. Sometimes he'll try to help people he likes (and who don't consider him the devil for being a redhead...) although he'll do it in his own way, which includes lots of bullets and explosions... And fire, lots of fire.
So that's all for now, I just wanted to share my silly OC because I didn't know if I could upload it to the Postal Subreddit. Anyway, maybe I'll start posting more stuff from fandoms I like.
