dAY 4
Ug! I’m a bit hungover.Â
Got unexpected drunk last night. So I’m not feeling productive at all at the moment... so yeah Good morning all! Hopefully, I’ll make up for it later, but right now I’m just looking forward to an egg and cheese burrito. lolÂ
Today is Thursday (My Friday - for now, my schedule changes in October) So I am going to enjoy my last 2 long weekends off.Â
I have no plans this weekend, which I love. Just tea on Friday morning to discuss a book I’m reading with a friend. We’ve been hitting random coffee shops every Friday morning, but now we have to figure out something else. I'm gonna miss the Friday morning coffee and tea sesh. Â
dAY 3
Good morning!Â
I haven’t really planned out my day as far as food, but I’m thinking strawberry banana smoothie blended w/some dark chocolate almond milk? Or may I’ll take that as an afternoon snack. Yes yes, that’s what I’ll do.Â
Breakfast: Avocado toast
Snack: Strawberry banana chocolate smoothie
Lunch: spaghettiÂ
Dinner: chickpea salad sandwich
Planned exercises: plank, crunches, squatsÂ

What’s new for me? Well...
I have been trying to get up earlier every day, my goal is eventually 4 a.m.
 I start a new position at my job on the 1st of October and my hours are changing from nights to mornings. So, I’m slowly trying to get myself to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier. lol, It’s been unsuccessful for the most part. But! I am hopeful. I have to be to work by 7:30am. I want to get up at 4 so I can start a morning wake up routine with meditation and exercise. Wish me luck!Â
It’s too early for me to think. Haha, But Good morning everyone and enjoy your day!Â

dAY 2
So far so good! Got up and made a nice hearty breakfast. I sauteed some onions, potatoes and shitake mushrooms in a skillet with a bit of coconut oil and seasonings of course and put it on top some scrambled eggs with half an avocado. Yum! Â
For lunch, I took the leftover potatoes and threw it in some black bean and kale soup. Also Yum!  I always go to Earth Origins for my soup, they have some really great vegetarian and vegan soup options. Easy for work lunches. :)Â
Had a spinach and banana smoothie in between.Â
Later on, I had a cereal bar, which I only ate because I am taking medication (antibiotics)at the moment.Â
Anyway, I came home and made some food for the rest of the week because I hate feeling rushed in the mornings. lol So, I made mushroom and onion spaghetti and some chickpea salad which turned out amazing! Not gonna lie, tots ate a chickpea salad sammich.Â
If anyone is interested in the recipes, let me know! They’re nothing special, but I’m happy to share.Â
As far as the exercise portion of the day, I did do the exercises I set for the day, but nothing more. Squats, Crunches, and Planks let’s go!Â
I also got some writing done today! I look forward to sharing that as well. But I’m still deciding on what to post or if I should just be random AF.Â
Perhaps focus posting on my “fitness” challenge first, then focus on the writing?Â

dAY 1
I had a tooth pulled this morning. I was happy to see that little bastard go. Byeee tooth!Â
Good thing I had a smoothie prepped. Spinach and banana smoothie for the morning. Have to be on a soft diet for 48 hours. I should take advantage of this.

Spinach and Banana smoothie:
3c spinach
1c almond milk
1 bananaÂ
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ginger
3cups spinach blended with 1cup almond milk add banana then the turmeric and ginger can use fresh if you want of course, but I don’t have it on hand at the moment.Â
Later I will make my decadent chocolate banana protein smoothie.Â
1 banana or 2 (up to you)Â
2tbs peanut butter
1/2 or whole scoop protein powder (again up to you)
1 c dark chocolate almond milk
(optional 1/4 c oatmeal)
If I only use 1 banana, I will probably throw in a 1/4 cup of oatmeal.Â
Throw everything in the blender and blend away. Smoothie-fi.Â
In between, I will probably have some soup. I’m thinking some Roasted poblano and corn chowder. Delish!Â
Still, have to do some sort of exercise! Â

I am going to challenge myself to a 30-day health-kick. Which I hope will turn into a more permanent venture.  I am a vegetarian, but being a vegetarian doesn't always mean I eat healthy. Let me introduce you to my two favorite things. Beer. Pizza.  Yassss bitch.  I very rarely say no to pizza or beer, which is why I struggle with losing weight ... all. the. time. My. whole. life.Â
I have been overweight since birth, probably, just kidding, but pretty close to it. I have been FAT since I was in elementary school. I have lost weight a few times, here and there, gotten down to a size 18-20 probably, but my love for leisure and snacks always wins.Â
 However, over the past few years, I have been determined to change my diet and my lifestyle. I actually eat really healthy during the day, 4 days a week, then I get home and the weekend happens and then, why hello pizza, hello beer, don't mind if I do.  Every. Weekend. Bad Brytt.Â
BADÂ I say!Â
I try not to get so down on myself, because I know I can do it. But, it's time to be more strict with myself. Like Dad waiting up for you past curfew strict, with a belt in his hand, 'bout to whip your ass for coming home late type strict. Like drill Sargent strict, with his foot in my back,” just one more you fat - idiot baby.” Haha.  I might be over exaggerating, but you know what I mean.
 Time to get my shit together.Â
My plans: They are few but Simple. (hopefully) A.) Write more. Create more. B.) Exercise: yoga, cardio, and strength. C.) Nutrition: Keep my healthy daily habits through the nights and weekends. Â
