COWBOY DINOSAUR AU OK LETS GOOOO
Here is some older art I've doodles of this au! I wanted them all to live alongside dinos in there normal day to day life im the wild west!
Yawni Day and his Carnotaurus Buck!
A 28 year old Rancher who runs the Day Ranch along with his younger sister Meeshka (22) and ranch hand Pavi (21)!
Meeshka has two Ceratosaurs named Dipper and Dotty or Dip n Dot.
Pavi has a stubborn Diabloceratops that she spends all her time with! Pavi was taken in by Yawni and Meeshka's parents. The bullheaded duo quickly showed a knack for helping heard the more stubborn maia.
These three together run one of the most successful Maia ranches this side of the Mississippi!
Next up we have Kimoi and his Dilophosaurous Princess.
An antisocial bounty hunter that is very good at his job. When his cocky partner Darci isn't ruining his plans with his chaotic dinosaur Richard (dick). He comes from a small family that takes small jobs as escorts. There Dilos have very good night vision which makes for excellent protection when traveling on long trips. Kimoi found him and Princess had a knack for tracking and used that for bounty hunting. Money's much better.
Princess is very fond of Kimoi, she is often seen preening him when they are idle, as well as looming when a stranger gets too close.
In some of the doodles you'll see Moon and her two Hypsilophodontidae! The two are her darling boys, who love to show off there pretty plumage, which works great as Moon is an entertainer/saloon girl!
Darci came from a family of Raptor ranchers that collected there feathers for high quality down quilts and coats. Sadly he lost his family as well as his dinosaurs when there ranch was slaughtered by outlaws. The event left Darci as a mute so he can only communicate via ASL and wrighting.
Kimois family took him in and he was given a Dilo to bond with. This has not worked very well and the two constantly but heads. Dick often gives them away by calling out to Princess (his mother) when they get to far from eachother. He's still young being Darci got him as a teenager so he acts out alot.
Willow the traveling salesman and his trusty Pteradons. Mama the quetzalcoatlus and Franky the rhamphorhynchus!
Willow and Franky were lost while his parents where traveling cross country for more opportunities. Found later by an overly maternal Quets, the child and his small Ramph were cared for and raised by the massive beast.
As an adult Willow is known for having fine fabrics and goods from far and wide, being able to travel via flight, its easier to collect high dollar items. One of the boys eyes are blown put and he is blind in that eye thanks to Franky. Who also gifted him many other scars on his shoulders. Such a sweet boy.
Newt and Donnie both come from a family of merchants. While Newt handles trading and collecting from local farmers, keeping there shelves full, his sister stays behind to run the shop, her trusty gaggle of coelophysis. These noodles, Tilly, Milly and Billy, run deliveries for her while shes stuck manning the shop!
Newt's partner, a monolophosaurus named Outlaw with serious anxiety problems, much like Newt. The dino is prone to run when under stress. Also much like Newt, leaving the merchant to get lost and distracted alot while traveling from town to town. He often has to hunt the dinosaur down, which is how he meets Yawni. Who helps him chase down the Dino, much to Outlaw's horror. Just two Cowards trying to make there way in the world.
