It’s warm again and I’m craving the beach. But not just any beach. Specifically a beach with beautiful cliffs, crystal clear ice-cold water, and vibrant green algae. I don’t live near one of those so I will draw it instead 🌊

I gave Umbra a redesign, going along the same vein as Anqet’s design, except he gets a starface and little back legs to be a nuisance to boats with. He’s an abandoned catch-and-release of the Ladder when they were studying bioengineering in the Trench Stations along the rim of Hellmouth. He’s still got a dormant tracking chip floating around in his body.

He’s known to harass ‘mermaid’ hunting ships, mainly out of curiosity, but is easily deterred by snack offerings. Perhaps he’d like a naan frisbee or two.

Today is my wonderful partner @coledonnerstag's birthday (and our one year anniversary!), so I made this wood burned replica of the sign from The Wild Robot.

It's a movie that means a lot to both of us, and I hope I did the great artwork from the film justice 💚

I made this using a scorch marker, a heat gun, and a vinyl stencil made from the official art. I'm really happy with how it turned out!~

Dinosaur hat! Just a plain beanie pattern with some colorwork from Pacific Knit's Dino Doodle deck (the doodle decks are super fun, highly recommend!).
