Task 12 - Life Changes

Quite possibly the biggest life changing event for Spencer was when his mother died when he was just nine years old. Before then, it was just him and her living out their lives to their best abilities. He never really knew who his father was or even where he was, and it probably should have stayed that way. If she hadn't passed, he never would have had to endure the hatred his father felt toward him and his mother. Spencer probably never would have done the majority of things in his life. He never would have joined the police academy, never would have became a detective, because her case is what drove him to do so. And without that, Spencer never would have met Talulah, or Mollie, have gotten married, maybe if he had met Mollie, their marriage would have been happier. Especially with him not being partnered with her brother. He would have taken the loss better than he had, wouldn’t have spiraled out of control. However, there is no telling as to what he would have achieved. With such little resources, Spencer very well could have ended up dead on the streets if he’d taken the wrong path. So in a way, everything good that happened to him, was because of the most painful day of his life.
