BTS Reaction-Â You being from Sweden and having a phone call in Swedish with your family
I actually know a little bit of Swedish, so yeah, this will be fun to write :)Â -Admin Tae

While youâre having dinner with Jin at your favorite restaurant, your phone goes off. You look up from the soup youâre eating and meet Jinâs eyes.Â
âItâs okay, you can answer it,â he says.Â
âThanks,â you say, before pulling out your phone and seeing itâs your mom, calling from Sweden. You sigh, not really in the mood to talk to her but maybe you can make it quick since youâre eating.Â
âHej mamma (hi mom),â you answer. She immediately starts to say how much she misses you and all that. Youâre pretty sure Jin is trying to listen in, because he cocks his head in a confused way while taking a bite of breadstick.Â
âJag vet att jag vet att jag saknar dig ocksĂ„ (I know I know, I miss you too). Men jag Ă€r pĂ„Â middag med min pojkvĂ€n just nu (But Iâm at dinner with my boyfriend right now).â
Your mom quickly apologizes and asks for you to call her another time when youâre free. âJa, jag ringer dig snart, mamma. Jag Ă€lskar dig (Yes, Iâll call you soon, mom. I love you).â
When you finally hang up and put your phone back in your pocket, you see Jin smiling at you.Â

He shrugs, âI guess itâs kind of cool to hear you talk in a different language.âÂ
âAnd now you know how I feel when you start speaking Korean,â you laugh, kicking him lightly under the table.

Yoongi is going through some lyrics with you, to see how you feel about them, when you get an unexpected call.Â
âItâs my mom!â You say, excitement filling your body. âI have to take this, I havenât talked to her in a while.âÂ
Yoongi nods and continues to scribble things out and change them while you answer the phone.Â
Honestly, you were a little rusty on your Swedish since youâve been speaking English for so long now, and are currently learning Korean, but it being your native tongue, it comes back quickly.Â
âMamma! Hur mĂ„r du? (Mom! How are you?)âÂ
Your momâs voice is sweet just like you remembered it, and it makes you feel at home, even if itâs only over the phone.Â
âNy Ă€lskling kusin? Aw, jag mĂ„ste komma snart! (New baby cousin? Aw, Iâll have to come visit soon!)â
You end the conversation on a good note, not forgetting to tell your mom that you love her, as you sit back down next to Yoongi.Â

âSwedish,â you smile, pulling over his sheets of paper to finally look over them.

Hoseok was teaching you a dance that youâve been wanting to learn when your phone goes off. Youâre confused at first because no one ever calls you, but you become excited when you see itâs your dad.Â
âAh, itâs my dad!â You say, quickly answering the phone. âHej, pappa! (Hi, dad!)âÂ
âĂ h nej ... Ă€r mamma okej? (Oh no...is mom okay?)âÂ
Your dad proceeds to tell you that your mom is sick in the hospital and you canât help but fall to the ground. Hoseok quickly runs over, seeing if youâre okay.Â
âJag önskar att jag var hemma. Jag Ă€r ledsen. (I wish I was home. Iâm so sorry.)â
âJag ska se om jag kan fĂ„nga ett flyg. SĂ€g mamma att hĂ€nga in dĂ€r. Jag kommer snart hem. (Iâll see if I can catch a flight. Tell mom to hang in there. Iâll be home soon.)â
âIs everything okay?â
You shake your head, explaining to Hoseok what you were saying and what was going on.Â
âIâm so sorry,â he says, rubbing your back, âbut hey...you should totally teach me how to speak your language.âÂ
You canât help but giggle at this.Â

Your mom starts babbling about how you are too far away from home and doesnât understand how you could love a busy and popular man like Namjoon.

Namjoon peeks his head through the door and listens it, even though he doesnât understand what youâre saying. When you finish the phone call, he comes in.Â
âIs your mom giving you a hard time?â
You nod, trying not to be too upset, âYeah...she still doesnât understand our relationship. But I donât care...I love you and you make me happy. I told her that.â
Namjoon pulls you into a hug and kisses the top of your head, âIâll learn how to speak Swedish just so I can have a phone call with her and show her that sheâs wrong.âÂ
JiminÂ
Both you and Jimin are taking a nap when you get a call from your family. A skype call. Your mom, dad, 2 brothers, and sister are crowded are the family computer in the small house you grew up in.Â
âTjena! (Hi guys!) Jag saknar er alla. (I miss all of you.)âÂ
Jimin sits up and listens to you with a confused look on his face. He wasnât aware that you spoke another language. Itâs cute to see him like that.Â
âAlla, det hĂ€r Ă€r Jimin, min pojkvĂ€n. (Everyone, this is Jimin, my boyfriend.)â
He smiles shyly as he pokes his head into frame and waves.Â
âSay, âHejâ,â you tell him, grinning.Â
âUh...hej!â He says, and your heart melts at his adorable attempt to speak your native language.Â
Your family laughs and greets him back. Your mom says that heâs cute and you blush, a little glad that Jimin doesnât know what she said.Â

Taehyung made you some lunch, since you always seem to skip it. He smiles at you before taking his place across from you. As soon as you start eating, your phone goes off.Â
âWho is it?â You ask, as Taehyung reaches for it.Â
âItâs your mom.â
Your eyes light up and you quickly take the phone from his hand, greeting your mom in a cheerful tone. Your swedish comes back to you very quickly even though you havenât used it in a while.Â
Taehyung listens in, even though the words are going over his head. He nibbles on his food and watches you as you chat with your mom.Â
âJag Ă€lskar dig mamma. Jag ringer snart. BerĂ€tta för alla att hĂ„lla sig frisk! (I love you mom. Iâll call soon. Tell everyone to stay healthy!)âÂ
When the phone call ends, you see Taehyung giving you a cheeky smile.Â

âI donât know, itâs just cute to here you talk like that.âÂ

Your mom calls while you and Jungkook are watching a movie. You sigh, promising Jungkook that youâll be quick, although he doesnât mind. He knows how important family.Â
You feel rusty with your swedish, especially when your grandfather gets on the phone. You almost canât understand him, but things slowly come back as you talk with him and your mom.Â
âAh. Tja, jag tittar pĂ„ en film med min pojkvĂ€n just nu. Kan jag ringa nĂ„gon annan gĂ„ng? (Ah. Well, Iâm watching a movie with my boyfriend right now. Can I call some other time?)âÂ
You say your goodbyes and when you set the phone down and look at Jungkook, you giggle.Â
âWhy are you looking at me like that?âÂ
He gives you a blank stare, âItâs weird not knowing what youâre saying.âÂ
