You're wrong. Even those parts. I have them too, everyone has them. They don't make you bad, you are not bad. They don't make you unlovable.

I love you. I promise. I see the stars in your eyes when you're excited and I fall in love. I see your smile and can't stop myself from smiling too. I see your brain working behind your lovely face and it takes my breath away how intelligent you really are. Even if you don't see it. Even if you got bad grades in school. You really are so smart. I'm in awe of you.

I love your hands. I love the gentle shape of your forearms. I love the curve of your cheek. I love the dimples on your thighs and the creases at your waist. I love the shape of your skeleton, the gorgeous frame of the whole of it.

I love the crooked teeth in your smile-- it wouldn't be your smile without them. I love how slightly asymmetrical your lips are. I love that one lock of hair you have that never falls into place. It's ridiculous and adorable and it makes me happy.

I love the line of your collarbone when you throw back your head in laughter or carefree enjoyment. I love the marks on your skin, the freckles and angel's kisses and stretch marks and scars. I love the rough patches that always get too dry, the ones you can't stop scratching at even though you know you shouldn't. They give you texture. They make you real. You're so incredibly real.

I love you. I promise I do. I love your humor and your wit and your words and your thoughts. I love even the parts of you you're nervous to share because in the past people have made you feel lesser for having them. Those people were stupid. They were wrong.

Everything about you is amazing.

Sushi or red lobster? (I personally can't stand lobster because they boil them alive... same with crab)

I’m kind of 50/50. I really enjoy Japanese culture and I’m a sucker for raw fish so sushi is delightful, but the unique flavor of lobster is hard to beat and crab is just fun to eat.

Sand beach or a marsh, with the soft silt and sea grass. I’ve never been to a pebble beach, but I have been to a crushed shell beach and those are nightmares.

Dark hair. I’ll admit I have an… Aesthetic. But sun-lightened dark hair gets the most fascinating tones. I used to have black hair, but at the end of summer with the sun and water, it would get these natural reddish highlights I have never been able to replicate from a bottle.

A calm sea is nice, but for swimming and playing in the water a rough sea can’t be beat.

Red lobster. I can’t do sushi. I’m not a huge fish person, but I can do crustaceans pretty well. And after so many years of going to marine biology camps and learning what is in seafood, I just can’t. Especially oysters.

New moon or full moon? The new moon is dark and mysterious, but the full moon is powerful and bright. How do I choose? How could I choose?

I am ignoring this question altogether.

Octopus. Bring on the brains, venom, and shapeshifting! Squids are cool, but I am biased as Hades and okay with this particular bias.

And we are back to the “why not boyh?” Problem. Sea glass is pretty, but I have a collection of seashells.

Saltwater wins this one, but not by much.

Sharks are awesome and I love them.

Storms are soothing to me.

This is the first question of these where I can’t choose because NO instead of because YES.

I have freckles, and am just now coming to appreciate them. I have an expensive environmentally friendly sunscreen in spf 50.

Jewel tones. They look best on me, and in my opinion on everybody. Especially paired with blacks and silvers.
