Nevy head cannon

Nevy is one very interesting character, she has amnesia, she a soul warrior, but what I wanna talk about is her sin envy. many speculate that Nevy’s envy is for love. That she had a lover and that they left her for someone, or they never took interest in her. A lot of people think its pedri because of this scene:

Because of this people believe Nevy was in love with Pedri and thus envious of Wrathia, but i think she may be envious of Wrathia for a different reason:

Shes unable to conceive.

The idea for this head-cannon didn’t even come to me until i was rereading the comic back in October. When re-watching the plan i stopped  on nevys page and I was looking particular page:

Here we see nevy sulking((or sleeping)) in a sea shell with tiny merchildren watching her. A theory of mine is that for each Demon page,one page will show the demon it’s self while the second will show their desires. Here I interpret this as nevy sleeping or sulking with children watching her. 

Of course infertility isn’t just one reason why she couldn’t conceive, It could also be the fact that her life partner is a different species which could also make it very difficult to conceive or even a different gender all together. We just know to little about her at the moment

After a super rough and long week, I decided to wind things down by drawing the lovely Nevy from the awesome Ava’s Demon. Its one of the things that keeps me going each week and bless that comic for it. Plus the great color palettes help with my digital painting~
