Reemerging from the shadows to fill out this meme ayy
1. It was 2002 or 2003. My dad bought the first DVD of the anime NightWalker and handed it off to me and my sister because he thought we’d like it. When Gessekai played as the outro, I became intrigued immediately. I looked them up as soon as the DVD was over aaaand the rest is history.
2. The songs I remember hearing right after Gessekai were Candy and My Fuckin’ Valentine, courtesy of a jrock-focused mp3 rotation site. (Oh god, remember those? lmao) I remember thinking “Oh... I really like them.”
3. This is a cruel question and is basically impossible to answer. Albums are all attached to certain times of my life with different memories. Some songs are always in my top favorites, like Misshitsu, Asylum Garden, Passion, Manjusaka, and Sakura. I could go on, but I’ll stop myself.
4. Cat cat catcat cat’s more Gustave! Turning my back on the sun, I wandered the asylum garden / Where time stops, and there dwells a black shadow
5. Tenshi no Revolver and Six/Nine. Really though, there isn’t an album that I dislike.
6. Yumemiru Uchuu, because Gustav Klimt is A+.
7. Taiyou ni Korosareta from Climax Together (1992) and Misshitsu from Warp Days (2002)
8. Miu because it’s super 90s and then there are organs
9. Angelfish! Passion...? Actually, I’m not totally sure what the general consensus is on popular songs, so I don’t know what tends to go unnoticed. I live under a rock.
10. its called fashion, sweaty
11. I am curious to know what hanging out with Imai would be like. I’m sure it would not be dull, at least.
12. Tsuchiya Masami feat. Sakurai Atsushi - Manatsu no Yoru no Mori
13. Abingdon Boys School’s version of Dress. Watch the live where Atsushi made a guest appearance, see Takanori go in full fanboy mode. An experience.
14. The Yellow Monkey and Thee Michelle Gun Elephant
15. Jaurim (I highly recommend their 2013 album ‘Goodbye, grief.’)
16. USA
BUCK-TICK - Rakuen
The single version of the song. I like this one a bit more than the album version :)
Sakurai Atsushi by Tomomi Kobayashi From the doujinshi ‘Secret GIG’
Sooo I haven’t used this blog in about 500 years. Okay, more like five. Life and other things took over. But would it be weird to resume using this as more of a BT spam blog instead of the originally intended FY?
I actually don’t have any friends in this fandom anymore, so I feel a bit weird, but I miss posting BUCK-TICK. Anyone out there? (Is there any fandom presence on twitter? Elsewhere?)
