Also gotta love that steve had become so jaded & tired of fighting —of existing— that he just abandoned all of his core values and his friends !!! his stubbornness was gone!! his unceasing drive to protect people was gone !!!! he literally moved to the city to feel bad for himself about a girl he NEVER dated (kissed once!!!!!
