Meet the IDW

A Optimus Prime Painting I did a while back.

I did this in like 30 minutes intervals so, forgive me for the mistakes!

Because of previous issues involving malnutrition and general stuff that arised from Drift's time in Dead End, he tends to gnaw on stuff.

It's a self soothing measure as well as a subconscious way his frame searches for missing nutrients so it doesn't try to cannibalize itself.

He'll be hanging out with Rodimus while writing or something and suddenly his frame is like: (oh hey. This stylus has copper in it. Eat it.)

And now he's chewing on a stylus.

I have a headcannon for Rodimus where due to how his frame interacts with the matrix sometimes it overloads him with happy feelings and fries his processors after a high-stress or exciting situation. Because of this it often leads to him overheating and collapsing.

It's pretty common to see Rodimus being toted around in various mechs arms (or being dragged around on a little trolley in somecases).
