The temptation to raise a hand and strike this man was growing but he knew very well that would bring unwanted attention to this alley and he already had one body to dispose of - the last thing he needed was another. “Because I carry a fucking meat clever in my back pocket, right? Kill. Kill. Kill. The voices sang a pretty tune, pushing him - taunting him. His therapist had tried to give him resources that would silence it. A hefty length of treatment and a good lawyer was the only thing that had stopped him from being thrown in prison, had stopped him from becoming the bitch to some muscular asshole. But he’d slipped - more than once, only now he’d thought that he’d been crafty enough to hide the bodies, to get away with it.

And tonight, River was back at it again; trying desperately to make it stop. Dumpster lid opened as he began to hoist the body of that prostitute within it; a shuffling heard at the end of the alley.
