Guru shrugged a bit, attempting not to let his confused emotions shine through. If there was anything that Guru had grown to be good at, it was masking feelings.

    “Haven’t heard that name in years.”

He seemed…lost, for a moment. Hearing the name that he had abandoned, so long ago…

He was taken aback, if anything. How this girl knew his name, one that he kept hidden from even those close to him, was a mystery.

     With a bit of manual adjustment, Vibri settled pretty quickly into Guru’s arm, somewhere she had grown used to in recent times, as it brought her comfort. Her eyes closed for a moment, as if she was ready to sleep…

     …she almost didn’t even catch that last bit of what he said, but she’d hate to make him have to repeat himself. Her ears perked up at his words, prompting her to look up at him.

     “…Oh? I’m sure that anywhere we go will be fine!” Vibri answered after a moment of processing what he said as she sat up a bit.

    “Heh...yeah, but if you saw something you wanted to check out, I mean...Just lemme know, alright?”

It was no secret that Guru cared immensely for this little one, especially i more recent times. A soft chuckle passed his lips, as he began to walk, with her safely tucked into one of his arms.

    “Want you to see as much as possible, I guess.”

     “Guru!” Vibri exclaimed, grabbing one of the ant’s lower hands with her much more delicate ones. She seemed especially peppy at the time, even for her standards, and looked up at Guru with bright eyes as she lightly bounced up and down.

     “You said you’d take me to see more of the town today, correct? So where will we be going?”

The small, high-pitched voice of his little one brought a smile to Guru’s face, as his fingers ever so delicately wrapped around her much smaller hand.

    “Well, Vibs...was gonna take you to some of my favorite spots around. I know a great flower patch, a beach...”

Just talking about these places seemed to instantly lift Guru’s spirits, even more than Vibri already had. He gave a gentle squeeze to the hand that he held, before he lifted her into his arm, letting her rest naturally there.

   “Of course, if there was something you wanted to see, while we were out...”

Honestly, this was so strange to Guru...

Not like he was going to refuse, though. Especially not when Takoyama needed him so badly, and so clearly so.

    “Alright, baby...let’s go lay down, yeah?”

Wrapping one arm around his lower back, Guru pulled him closer, his forehead pressed against Tako’s. Even if it was sudden, he was gonna at least attempt to be a little romantic about it...

Here's that banana bread I promised you...with caramel and everything...y-you're really good with your tongue...

    “Hey, thanks, baby.”

Guru replied, a sly smirk tugging at his lips. Of course, he already knew…but the reminder didn’t hurt, either.

He was quick to take the banana bread from her, already having plans on when to eat it later in the comfort of his home. After setting the bread aside, Guru leaned down, giving the girl a very quick peck on the lips.

    “Something to remember me by, sweetheart…”
