thank you so much! yes, let’s talk about the DS game!!!!

the original Build-A-Bear Workshop game came out on the DS in 2007. i had the joy of owning it myself back in the day :)

a sequel was released on the Wii in 2008 called Build-A-Bear Workshop: A Friend Fur All Seasons, along with another DS game (Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville) and Wii game (Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley) in 2010.

you choose a furry friend from one of six options, and get them ready to take home just like in real life. once you get home to your Cub Condo, there are lots of mini games to play with your bear! there was also a small multiplayer component where you could challenge friends in the mini games.

i’m going to try and find an emulated version to play so i can give a full review on it!! thanks so much for the ask, anon!

sending love to all of the build a bear fans in florida, georgia, south carolina and north carolina that have been affected by the hurricane. many of my friends only recently got power back yesterday/today, and my in-laws still don’t have power and are unsure when they will get it back. my heart goes out to those who lost their homes, jobs, or loved ones.

Build a Bear magazine! These would be cute to bring back, even if its only a digital form. I feel like they really shifted out the fun content associated with build a bear. Where's the activities ;-;
