A little update: I’m feeling a bit down and overwhelmed these days. As you know I’m working while studying. Apart from being super busy, my boss is in a bad mood recently and is mad at everyone at work lol But I always feel better when I think of Christmas🎄🎅

3rd July - Do you have a lot of work to do for school, university or your job this summer?

My internship just ended a few days ago so I’m quite free until my last year of uni starts on August 9. However, I think I’m going to start a freelance paper proofreading/translating work very soon because I’ve got some connections and contacts from my internship place :o I’m trying not to keep my hopes too high, though.

As for uni stuff, I don’t have anything to do but I’m gonna be studying English semantics and pragmatics next semester and I truly suck at linguistics subjects. Any books/material recs would be nice ;w;)

2nd July - Do you have a specific goal for this summer?

I suppose education-wise, my goal is to finish my courses and ace my entrance exam; and my more personal goals are working on better understanding myself and my needs, and trying to be more carefree and relaxed.

050721 - i studied and quizzed myself on botany today, then went out to pick up groceries and find something for my cousin. her birthday’s coming up and i thought i’d fill up a goodie bag with treats and self care items. i chatted with the security guard while waiting in line, we spoke about how clever the dogs outside were: conning tourists into feeding them biscuits all day. he told me people didn’t like talking to him because they thought he was intimidating or uneducated :( i’m still ignoring math, but my mother and i shared laughs and played jazz in the car ride back home so... it was a good day.
