the animation on the leaked movie is beautiful. I am feeling an issue with the voice acting. Of course, anything is enough, but it lacks a certain over-acting to match the goofy animation that I think the original series did so well.

hello! I recently discovered your atla art and au and I absolutely adore it all!

that being said…. I noticed that Sokka appears to have tunniit (Inuit traditional tattoos). culturally speaking tattoos were/are sacred, every line has a meaning every dot a purpose, and primarily a practice among women. I am not Inuit, nor am I an expert, but do know that the chin tattoo is supposed to signify coming of age among women (aka the first period) so it’s a bit odd to see Sokka with it (unless… trans Sokka??). From what I know if men did have tattoos, it’d be more likely to appear on the arms (tho I have heard that some will get a tattoo tattoo across the bridge of the nose after a successfully hunting big game but I’ve also heard that used to mark murders so idk)

hi! yes, I answered a similar ask before hand, :D In my older art (and unfortunately most of the sokka art I had drawn) I had feminine tattoo on him by accident, when I did research it was all in English </3. I am not Inuit and not an expert as well, and I changed it to what the person who originally asked said was masculine face tattoo, and I cant remember but I think it had the line across nose as you mention!!! it could definitely still be wrong, though </3 I havent drawn for the au in a long time but if you had any recommendations for in case I draw it again, pls lmk in another ask or a dm!!! Ty for asking & informing!!! :D <3

OH MY GOSH i havent' drawn them in SOOOOO LONG. its probably been. a year. so here these warm up sketches <3 I need to figure out how to draw them in my art style again. but heres slightly updated designs. the right, is when, zuko starts growing his hair out again. whch is way later in the au but i wanted to draw fluffy hair so here we are i guess haha. AHHH i missed drawingn aang's complicated ass outfit T-T
