If there was one thing Atsushi was not good at it, it was being flirtatious. At least, not in his personal opinion. Others might say differently, or they might like the lines he comes up with -- but frankly, he finds it quite difficult, and the fact Karamatsu is able to speak so freely always astounds him. ... In the best way. In fact, it inspired him, if he had to be truthful. How easily the whole thing seemed to come to him.
He crosses his feet at the ankles, leaning his forearms against the table to give him something to lean on, and just kind of watches as Karamatsu tries a new line on the poor waitress who had been bringing Atsushi another rum and coke. She seems impressed with the Karamatsu Girl label, and rolls her eyes as she walks away. Karamatsu seems unfazed. He can’t help but smirk as he raises the glass. Hmm ... Atsushi would be amazed if this guy walked out of here without a date tonight.
... And perhaps also a bit jealous.
After the third round, things are getting a bit hazy, but the designated babysitter driver hasn’t slowed down for a second. And his lines seem to be getting better and better. Or else Atsushi is just getting a little too drunk. He should probably lay off the drinks for now. Setting the empty cup down, he shifts slightly in his chair, hooking one foot around the leg of it.
“ Eh, Karamatsu - san. Give me your hand for a second. ” He extends his own, fingers wriggling until his confused drinking partner does as asked. Then, as smoothly as his tipsy self can manage, Atsushi brings Karamatsu’s hand up to his mouth, pressing his lips gingerly against them, and tries his best not to choke on the nerves. Alcohol clearly only helped so much. And in a public place like this, it was risky for a lot of reasons.
“ ... I think you look too good tonight to go home alone. ”
