You cannot hide this in the tags, bestie. This is too lovely to keep a secret.
It may not be apparent to everyone how to easily find out who wrote the poem in the tags, so: @mumblesplash

đŻïž Celebrating Imbolc đŻïž
CANDLEMAS | February 1
đŻïž Decorations: white flowers, candles, seeds, daffodils, broom, cross
đż Incense: vanilla, basil, bay leaves, hay, straw, wormwood, jasmin
đ„§ Food: crĂȘpes, poppy seeds muffins, sunflower seeds, waffles, scones, garlic, onions, chia seeds
Imbolc means âin the bellyâ, and it is the time when life stirs in the belly of earth. It is a feast of lightness and brightness, but also a time for cleansing, to make way for the new. It is sacred to the celtic goddess Brigid, as she is associated as a deity with spring, fertility, healing, light and poetry.
Rituals to celebrate:
đ„ł With people, have a walk outside and look for signs of springâs return.
đœïž In the kitchen, bake poppy seed muffins.
đš Get crafty, by weaving a Brigidâs cross.
đ Dress up, using white and bright outfits to celebrate the return of light.
đ Write in your journal, how you plan to take care of nature and the environment this year.
đź Meditate, about what healing means to you.
Other ideas to celebrate:
Start planting your garden.
Declutter and clean your living space to prepare for spring.
Light white candles to invite the sun to come back.
Open the windows to let fresh air in.
Make a cleansing spray to lift up your spirit.
Blessed Imbolc, witches đŻïž
Worshipping With Executive Dysfunction
Ironically, Iâm writing this to avoid doing my Work Job. Letâs get into it.
Set an alarm so you remember. Pick a specific time youâre going to worship, because âlaterâ never comes and âsometime this eveningâ rarely does either. Instead, set an alarm so that you already have that time set aside in your mind, and so that you donât mentally blow past it when that time arrives.
Keep everything in one place. Keep the offerings near where you would offer them, as well as anything you might need to do it, like matches or lighters. Make it so thereâs as little travel time as possible between you and what you want to do.Â
Think through the ritual setup beforehand. Sometimes the offering part is easy but getting to that point is overwhelming, especially if your tradition involves ritual purification or invocation rituals. Boil it down to the bare essentials and capture the essence in a way that doesnât have so many steps, if you can. (Ex: Is that personal purification rite just an ancient way of washing away germs, and if so can we just mindfully wash our hands and fulfull the riteâs function?)
Start with something little. Getting started can be the hardest part. If you donât have the energy for an entire offering ritual, break it into pieces. Just do the setup and approach the rest later if you need. Or just put on a playlist to get into the mood for now. Or take a couple deep breaths to refocus your brain. Ease into it as slowly as you need.Â
Think ahead with your offerings. Will you have the spoons to clean up after? If youâre like me and run the risk of not removing an offering for days (or weeksâŠ) then think ahead to what can stay there a long time, just in case. Nobody likes cleaning up the altar and finding mold in the offering dish. Incense, water, and dried plants tend to work well, as do nonphysical things like music and poetry.
âWhile Iâm at itâŠâ If you catch yourself in a spot with good momentum, try to get a rite done while you have the energy instead of putting it off. It can be something simple, but use the energy and the drive while youâre on top of it since we canât always guarantee it will be there in even an hour.Â
Keep things similar so that you donât have to rethink every step, every time. A rock solid routine with what a ritual looks like helps it become a lot more automatic, and therefore a lot easier to actually do. Routine becomes habit.
Remember that something is better than nothing. Anything that helps you touch base with your Divine and keep them close is a good thing, and most people donât give an offering every single day. Donât waste time beating yourself up for not performing at the level you wish you could. Instead, celebrate the love it takes to do something at all for them through your Executive Dysfunction; youâre already pushing yourself and striving to do your best for them, and thatâs incredible. Hang onto that.Â

*stupid little footnotes: i'm trying out some colors. idk. i think it's cool. more organized. lmk if you guys like or dislike it
I am a witch who's trying to get back into witchcraft after an immense amount of burn out. The burn out wasn't due to the witchcraft, it was due to things piling on my brain in general. What sort of things do you suggest to ease myself back into it? If you don't have an answer that's okay, just thought to ask
I've been dealing with this myself and i actually just made a video on it that I really like not too long ago, so I think I can help you!
How to Come Back to the Craft After Burn Out (+ A Guide to doing Witchcraft with Low Spoons)Â
I was burnt out in general and because of the craft, particularly because of the way I was filtering my personal practice through social media. I realized a lot of my burnout was tied to pushing myself, and shame. I feel like maybe this is common. This is a mix of both personal and witchy advice, and I may be projecting, but I think you have to focus first and foremost on not rushing back in and getting overwhelmed by adding a bunch of stuff to your routine at once and trying to do everything right or perfect. A good practice or routine is sustainable, not perfect. Perfect is the enemy of good, and also the enemy of done. I've had to focus on this a lot recently.Â
With this in mind, you might be wondering where you should even begin when it comes to actually practicing again. Remember to go slow. Iâd suggest thinking about what you were doing and interested in before and start practicing and researching whatever sounds the most fun when youâre ready. You could also go over any notes you had about your practice before, if you had a blog or something look at that, etc. You get the idea! It will help you remember and might inspire you. If you really enjoyed tarot for example, you could do that when you feel inspired to. Starting slow is important. if you want go slower you could just do whatever practices you were doing before, or like now, whenever you feel like it. You could also try working witchcraft into your routine. Routine is hard for a lot of people but it doesnât have to be intense. It can just be adding one thing. Thatâs all it needs to be. It could be something you do once a month, once a week, when you wake up, after you brush your teeth, only some days or whatever you think will make you feel the best. Â
Of course I donât know anything about your practice but to inspire you and others, hereâs some ways you can easily introduce magic into your life.Â

Rainbow Water???
Okay, so I realized something today. I always see posts detailing the various correspondences of different types of water. Moon water, sun water, eclipse water, rain water, storm water, snow water, even *dew* water. Water from a lake, a river, an ocean, a stream, a brook. Even water collected from mist.
But y'all know what I havenât seen?
Rainbow water.
So hold on to your seats yall because Iâm about to take ya on a ride.
Rainbow water is something I use quite often in my craft. Why? Because itâs got so many uses! I use it for:
LBGTQ+ spells
Spells for positivity
Spells for luck
Spells for change
Spells for perserverance
Spells for hope
Spells for connection (I call them âbridge spellsâ)
Spells for happiness
Spells for creativity/imagination
Honestly, I have no idea why I havenât seen rainbow water being mentioned before. It canât be because itâs too difficult to collect because, y'all,
You can make your own rainbows. You donât have to wait for one to show up in the sky.
Observe:
That right there is a bona fide rainbow that i created with nothing but a hose on the mist option and natural sunlight. Get yourself a pretty (or ugly) bottle with a wide mouth and you can very easily make your own rainbow water!
âBut wait, Eiolrin, what if I donât have a hose?â
Nothing to fear. Iâve got your back. You can also collect rainbow water by:
Shine a light through a prismatic crystal, then placing a bottle of regular water in the rainbow thatâs created. Just like making sun/moon water! You donât need to put it in the rainbow for more than maybe 1-5 minutes.
Get a plastic spray bottle that mists and spray the mist into natural sunlight until you find a rainbow. Hold bottle against the rainbow and *keep misting*.
Hell, you know what? Who needs an *actual* rainbow?
Draw a rainbow. Print out a picture of a picture of a rainbow. This rainbow is in my grimoire in the form of a magic circle (enchantment circle) and iâve imbued it with the energy of a rainbow. I use this to make rainbow water sometimes.
So go forth and conquer, my lovelies! Be the witch/mage/occultist that uses rainbow water! Spread this around and make sure this is something that becomes a thing because in my opinion, rainbow water is just too useful to be ignored as a valid component in spells and other things.
As a bonus, hereâs my rainbow water!
Perfect for iris devotees!! And sun/rainbow witches!!
