Please Help a disabled Enby and their elderly disabled mother survive the winter while Homeless.

Remaking for February, same sitch, new Month.

I'm Casi, I'm a disabled enby who is the sole caregiver for my elderly disabled mother. We are Homeless, and staying in a hotel because it is the safest option for us. There are literally no shelters anywhere accessible, we have no family that could put us up, and the county sheriffs will arrest you if they find you on the streets or camping in the desert. We dont even have a car to live in. We have no transportation and no other options.

Mom has chronic bronchitis and severe arthritis and has difficulty breathing and walking, I have chronic pain and autoimmune issues.

Currently Moms SSI is our only stable income, and it only goes so far, I do sell my art and am looking for stable work but, so far not much luck on either front really.

The room costs $72 a night, $557 a week.

Literally anything that anyone could spare to help us is so incredibly appreciated, even $1 helps, a reblog especially helps because the more people who see this the more likely someone who can afford to help us will see it.

Right now we've got the room paid for until the 7th, and moms second check comes in tonight, which should cover another week. I'll update on the 7th when I know how far Moms second check will cover.

Update 8am Saturday March 14th: went in early because the parking lot is looking a little full and I didn't want us to lose our room or some else to lose theirs because they were overbooked and I'm glad I did because the kind woman who works the desk weekends told me that they're almost full for the weekend.

Fortunately I came in in time to secure our room and had enough to pay for 6 nights which gets us to Friday the 20th.

I'm so incredibly grateful for every little bit of help that comes our way and even a reblog helps immensely because the more people who see this the more likely someone who can afford to help us will see this.

Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".
