I wanted to make this post despite all the negativity and hatred, I want to encourage my trans brothers and sisters to keep on fighting for our right to exist and to flourish.

Person is of ambiguous gender so it is completely up to the viewer. I was inspired by seeing a merch drop of a media l used to like and I noticed how copy/pasted pride work seemed to be. The formula just seemed to be “person/ couple posing while holding pride flag” and I wanted to create something different but still empowering.

There has been a lot of hate towards trans ppl lately, even from other trans ppl. I see a lot of ppl bashing trans mascs and/or trans femmes, xeno genders, the poor girl that took her life last month and all the hateful comments under her post over on Twitter, the news about what is happening in the states...

I wanted to just remind everyone of where we came from and how much progress we have made when it comes to queer rights; even tho we are regressing now, we still have a chance and we still have a future for ourselves and the ones that will come after us.

One of my first finished pieces on clip studio using the tablet, it’s a lot easier to draw than using a stylus and phone!!💀 still getting used to clip studio tho and getting used to drawing on the tablet. My style is DEFINITELY gonna change quickly as I figure out the best and most satisfying way to draw.

Posting to the void but,, I finally got a new tablet and computer so I can draw now!! :D

Nothing super crazy, just that I have been stuck using my finger and phone to do art since I was 14 😭 I was stuck with art since I couldn’t properly sketch on such a small device that it became a chore to do digital art. I stopped drawing for a while and only doing such sparse pieces when I felt like it,, sometimes YEARS between drawings T^T

For my birthday this year, I had gotten a tablet (FINALLY) from my partner but my computer decided to kill itself LOLLL

Screen completely shattered and everything so I spent quite a few months struggling trying to figure out what to do. But finally I got a new computer from eBay and it has been working fine and really well since early November so I have high hopes! + the tablet works with it (the old computer could not connect to the tablet.)

So expect more art work in the future, I’m currently working on a huge comm for illustrating a children’s book so I can do crazy full pieces BUT I will try to post coloured sketches every now and then ^^

If you must know why I relapsed into tumblr posting, I was innocently watching a You Tube Video when one of the You Tubers in question mentioned a fanfiction in which he was shipped with Kermit the Frog. This made me irrationally angry and jealous for one moment before I remembered, oh, right, it's over now. It was just a joke! A bit of comedy for the internet! I had given up such thoughts of Kermit being my lover and mine alone for quite some time. I had vowed to my wife to give up such folly. But then, the You Tuber began to describe Kermit's hole, as if it was his to touch and feel. And I felt true. Fucking. Rage. I dont care if I was just "playing a character." I dont care what I told my wife. Kermit's hole is MINE. DONT YOU FORGET IT.

How fucked is my computer gang?

Yes, that weird highlighted area on the bottom of my screen is a visual glitch that isn’t going away, yes my screen is cracked and also my key board is expanding like it’s pregnant

I have a drawing tablet that has been in the mail for months that is supposed to be coming but my computer is so fucked up that idk if I can even use the tablet when it gets here 💀
