Mazda RX-3 brochure (UK market), 1973. The RX-7 and the RX-3 were both marketed in Japan using the Savanna model name. Chevrolet Tandem 2000 Concept, 1999. A futuristic 2-seat tandem prototype with a mid-rear mounted 2 litre engine using many Pontiac Fiero parts. It was presented at the 1999 SEMA show

Brubaker Box, 1972, in Soylent Green (movie, 1973). Soylent Green was a dystopian science fiction movie set in an ecologically depleted future where the Greenhouse Effect has resulted in dying oceans, pollution, poverty, overpopulation and euthanasia. The movie is set in the year 2022 and, instead of using bespoke futuristic cars, used a Brubaker Box which was a kit van based on the chassis of a VW Beetle. The vehicle used was apparently the same one that appeared on the cover of the March 1972 edition of Car & Driver magazine.
