vega turned 1 on the 15th. he's a big silly goober, always full of joy and love for life. everything is exciting and everyone is his friend.

i haven't been posting a lot because i've found it's just not something i enjoy doing very much, and to be honest this first year, up until the past couple of months, isn't something im looking to repeat anytime soon. it was hard. but he's slowly growing and even if it takes a few more years for him to grow a real brain, we're on the right track.

So yesterday was ✨a lot✨

My training boss wanted me and my coworker to sign an insane contract from the landlady basically holding us liable for a bunch of vague shit, and giving her the ability to fine us $500. So with that Friday is my last day.

My van has been parked there, I also had to have it gone yesterday. So now I need $1600 for breaks and tires by the 5th because I had to tow it to a mechanic and I’m honestly too overwhelmed to shop around.

All of this on top of seph’s teeth still needing fixed I am at capacity.

I would gladly accept donations and am willing to do some nosework help with the caveat that I will need some time to get started due to the extreme stress I’m feeling right now

My starter blew, so tomorrow my total is $1800. Because of working for myself I can’t get any fucking credit cards since my income isn’t really easy to prove. This is taking not only every dollar I have saved for seph’s surgery, but every dollar I have period. I still need to do at least a rough build (floor and mattress is my minimum) to be able to sleep in my van again.

I’m not mentally okay, my main job has been slow (bc duh recession), some days I can barely get out of bed to feed myself. I hate asking for help but my backs against the wall and the bills don’t stop

instagram dog influencers REALLY want you to know that their dog is high drive. they need you to know. they will post a picture of their dog in a birthday hat and the caption will say “my high drive dog turned 4 today 🥳”. a video of the dog munching on a treat that says “this is how my high drive dog eats a milkbone 😮”. we get it man

Also so many people do it for clout. Which is like… high drive dogs are so easy to train because they are high drive and thus greedy as hell. And if they are working line, they are literally bred for this. Train an overstimulated, environmentally unstable, low drive mutt to do a settle in public or a flashy performance heel. That’s real skill.
